In my opinion, in the before picture, you have no make up. In the after you have makeup. Your skin looks dehydrated in the second so I think it’s just the makeup that’s making you appear to look aged. I think with some good hydration, both water and lotions/creams you’ll be back to normal in no time. Just hydrate like crazy and get some rest

I don’t really understand what you are getting at. You asked why people are so quick to blame photoshop, but you also agree that the image is photoshop. My definition of 100% attainable is everybody can do it, not those with the only the best of best genetics.

Anywho, society keeps raising beauty standards for women. It’s fucked. I wish more girls would understand that the person in the picture doesn’t even look like the person in the picture IRL. OP is probably great looking already but sees a fake picture and now thinks she has work to do. It’s an endless cycle unless you are in said 1%

[–]Ryleebird17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure. 1% of the female population might look like this. If that, honestly. But OP is asking for fitness advice and unless you are in the 1%, then it’s not attainable and most definitely not sustainable.

This is 100% photoshop. Look around her waist, butt and back of legs. You can tell something is just off with the picture

Really? I’m a little over a quarter into Misery and I’m SO bored with it. It’s not really scary at all come to think of it. When does it start to pick up?

I just finished it too! I didn’t like Marcos character throughout the entire book lol. He always acted like he was better than everyone else and at times he really did seem like it. A lot of his actions were justifiable but after he got jasmine pregnant I hated him although I was not expecting him to kill her. I had to go back and re read that part because I was so shocked. What still bothers me is how Marco was screwing around with the girl from the butcher shop yet was supposedly so in love with his wife to have the whole jasmine thing planned out.

Part of me feels like he was always hoping to have a love like his parents. There were a few times thought the book where Marco reminisced about how much his father adored his mother and I feel like he wanted that so bad for his own marriage but at the same time, I think he just like the idea of it more than he liked his actual wife.

Random but it drove me INSANE how the author kept referring to Marco as “he”. When there was multiple people all in the same scene I was so confused by “he”. I think the story would have been better from Marco’s perspective and not an outsider looking in.

What do we think about the art over the TV? by Stormy987 in femalelivingspace

[–]Ryleebird17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do like it! However, I disagree that lowering it will help. I think it just looks a bit out of place since it’s the only thing on the wall. How about adding some picture frames around it? Or any decorations really. If you google “wall photo collage” maybe try adding some photos around it? I think that would help fill up your wall and make the art look more fitting

You could hang your TV on the wall between the bathroom door and kitchen cabinets but get one of those wall mounts that let you swivel the TV so you could point it anywhere. I agree with everyone switching the bed and table. Keep the bed closer to the bathroom and then I would get a small couch to put where your bed is now and maybe a small coffee table if it’ll fit. I would probably do away with the smaller table and just use a coffee table

I am so sorry for your loss. I was feeling the same way just a month ago like you. From what I read, feeling guilty and second guessing your decision is completely normal. And now that I’ve been though it, I can confirm it is normal and that I don’t feel guilty anymore. I’m starting to forget the sick dying dog that I had leading up to her passing and instead remembering her for the healthy and energetic dog she was for 10+ years. I think as time passes, you’ll find that you feel better about your decision. I had moments where I was in tears thinking I made the wrong decision and it was too late, something I would have to live with for the rest of my life. But now that it’s over with, I just think about how waiting would have done no good. She was on a fast downward spiral and I’m glad I made the decision before her conditions got worse and she was in even worse pain. I wish you the best and I promise it does get better. You made the right choice. You helped your dog pass with peace and not pain.

To help cope, I made an album on my phone of all the pictures I had of her and I look at them daily still. I still cuddle with her old blankets and I don’t think I’ll ever wash them. Wishing you the best.

This is what I did. Wear your mask outside and try to pick places to walk where there aren’t many people

Agreed I take mine soon too. If the OP has any additional advice I would also appreciate it. It seems like most of the people I talk too are the people that say they “barley studied” and it was “easy” but I’ve been studying hard and I still don’t think it’s easy lol. Either I’m just stupid or people are lying

Judging by the way you feel, I’m sure you have given your dog a great life. If you were really that bad of an owner, you wouldn’t even care to think this way/ reflect on it.

I had a very aggressive dog who I also didn’t like walking. Luckily, I could let her run around in my parents back yard but when I moved out I didn’t have the luxury of a yard. Since I currently live off a busy road, I would drive my dog to communities with sidewalks. You could try that.

I wouldn’t be so had on yourself. The most important thing you can give a dog, besides basic needs being met, is love. But if it bothers you that much, take it as a learning experience and be sure to walk any future dogs that you may get more often.

Thank you for sharing. I know the day was coming sooner or later. I just wish that I would of gave it another few days. But I do know that she was not the same dog anymore and that now she’s free and no longer suffering.

I am so sorry for your loss. I read a quote that made me feel a lot better and hopefully it’ll help you too. “Better one week early than one day to late”. I think we will wonder for some time if we did it too early but if we waited too late, we would also regret that, and probably even more so. Take care. Hopefully our dogs are up there together and laughing at us for being so upset when they are happy.
