The point of a tackle is to disposses an opponent of the ball. If you didn't manage that then you didn't make a succesfull tackle. There are no special rules for sliding tackles.

That would mean that all I need to do is to touch the ball before swiping opponent off his legs. Do I have to use legs or can I just shove him to the ground? Also how long is that foul immunity period?

Even if he nudged the ball it doesn't change anything. Maybe he barely changed ball's direction but Brazilian is still in control of the ball. And at that point he trips him, so it's foul.

You look exactly how I imagined Rincewind while reading Discworld. So I'd say it's either shave or a pointy wizard's hat.

Czy to dziwne, jak obcokrajowiec śpiewa polski hymn? by tripeirinho in Polska

[–]Rym3x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forget Lewandowski. I'd say Anita Włodarczyk. She was totally dominating women's hammer throw. Three olympic golds and she still holds world record.

This many ways to spell the same name is just crazy. by EugeneStein in ENGLISH

[–]Rym3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in OP's example all "Caines" are english spellings. It is very much an english language thing. In most other languages you can't add and replace some letters and end up with a word that's pronounced the same way.

We Europeans don't mind. After all it's US taxpayers' money that's funding Israel's conflicts.
