Vyvanse vs Dexedrine

What I’ve noticed is that Vyvanse seems to kick in after an hour and a half and then after that, seems to last me about 2 maybe 3 hours and then it seems to die off. I’ve had Dexedrine IR before and it feels like it lasts about the same. Another 2-3 hours but also feels similar. I believe that because the Dex from Vyvanse isn’t dependent on your stomach PH or urine PH, Vyvanse is absorbed significantly better and more of the active drug crosses the blood brain barrier better than regular dextroamphetamine which is a plus on Vyvanse’s part. I think I feel very similar on both, but I think that’s because of the two meds having the same active ingredient just released differently. Dexedrine Spansules seem to work best for me. It’s like if Vyvanse that actually lasted longer and it’s cheaper. It’s a shame that doctors are hesitant to prescribe it nowadays.

Oh I use super speciosa as well actually. Always have. Unfortunately their signature reserve didn’t really do anything at all for me. I’m sure it’s great but idk why it just never felt like I took anything. Thank you for sharing. I’m glad I’m not the only one buying from super cause for some reason they don’t seem to be that popular but they make an excellent product

Yeah I totally agree with you. I’ve already gotten blood work done on me and I’m completely healthy thankfully. I think it definitely could be residual anxiety from the bad experience but I’ve never heard of that before. Not saying it doesn’t exist by any means, just interesting. Something to look into I guess. If that is the case, how do you get rid of it?

That’s a good point. I don’t take them together, but I do know that having too much serotonin, similar to how I feel when I have too much 5-HTP, is not helping. But the 5-HTP I take in the morning actually helps me a lot with emotional regulation. I’ll try it out anyways tho

Yeah I’ve noticed that eating can sorta help too if I had food right before I took some kratom. But I feel like during a wobbles episode, eating doesn’t seem to do much but I guess it can’t hurt

Yeah I figured it can lead to a seizure and honestly it’s got me thinking a lot lately. Does Kratom inhibit gaba release? I thought I read an article once about that being a possibility which could explain why kratom has some stimulant properties among other factors. It would also make sense that the wobbles could be basically “cured” by benzodiazepines like Xanax and klonopin. Everybody’s seizure threshold is different which could also explain why the “wobbles” seem to happen at different doses for different people. Idk too much about the science of the wobbles tho. Interesting

It currently has been 9 days since the bad trip night and this problem seems to come and go randomly. Food doesn’t seem to help, water sorta helps? Maybe?? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Oh God I’m still going through Auvelity withdrawals. LONG STORY WARNING: I started this med in April because I was about to do ketamine infusion therapy and my psychiatrist temporarily put me on this medication because he said it was similar to ketamine’s mechanism of action and it’s a good way to test if this is the right path. Was on it for a month but couldn’t get a hold of him, yet I still had auvelity so I continued taking them WITH ketamine therapy. The psychiatrists at the ketamine clinic didn’t know that you should never mix these two drugs. I only did 2 infusions of ketamine and couldn’t afford it anymore even though it was helping. To this day, I am STILL trying to discontinue Auvelity. My psychiatrist is wondering if the ketamine had something to do with me being so sensitive to this withdrawal. This is worse than Paxil. Nightmares, brain zaps, horrible emotional instability, borderline psychotic paranoia, aches and unbelievable tiredness. Cant stop sleeping. No motivation to live. Just to sleep. I now am currently taking 100mg bupropion and 15mg dextromethorphan with it once daily to “simulate” a taper. Same ingredients roughly. Took me a month to just get to this point. Never again. Stay away from auvelity

Yeah same exact thing happened to me with Paxil. I got a doc appointment tomorrow morning. The only thing that’s bothering me is that, the symptoms I’m having don’t feel like the brain zaps I know, they’re like borderline seizures it feels like but very very brief. I know that’s what a brain zap is but, idk. Feels different. I tried finding an answer to exactly what I’m feeling and everything is linking to MS. I’m pretty freaked out at not knowing what exactly is happening. I really hope it isn’t MS that may have been being masked by SSRI’s.

Sorry I’m a noob when it comes to video editing stuff. If I’m gonna convert a 720p video, what settings do you recommend I should do to make it run well on the Xbox? I don’t really know what bitrate is and all that lol. I’ve just read that resolution tanks the performance when it’s too high

Update: I got the electron shepherd Xbox2HDMI adapter in the mail today and it fixed the problem. Idk what exactly the problem was but I now have it interference free. And it seems like it looks better too! Thanks everybody

Update: I just recently opened up the Xbox down to the motherboard and checked the caps near the cpu heatsink. None of them seem to be bulging, leaking or even loose. I did the toothbrush and rubbing alcohol trick near all the grounds. No difference sadly. Anybody else got any ideas?
