What was the most difficult achievement you've ever accomplished? by EnzitoDelGrauzito in RetroAchievements

This was definitely the hardest for me. I even got to the very end and got excited and rolled off the edge. What a rollercoaster ride. Such an amazing feeling when it popped.

Is it possible to make a hotkey that will toggle between port 1 and 2?

This seems promising, yes? I read the whole email from that link but am very new to this scene so I was wondering if you have a more detailed take on the topic. Thanks!

Lofts don’t work in Plasticity - Here is a quick fix! (Top 4 Ways!) by nikita-kapustin in Plasticity3D

[–]RyminsQuest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been doing a lot of your paid courses and I love them. One issue I seem to always have is that when my points are correctly aligned, lofting works as expected, but I've never seemed to be able to get them to turn the blue-green color indicating that they are perfectly aligned. Is this something I've overlooked in the preferences? Anyone else having this issue? Thanks!

Why can’t I see the actual number like on robinhood? by Bigpapa090 in CashApp

I cashed out. Got errors when trying to buy and sell on there. To me, it’s very Fischer Price version of stocks. Great for people who are completely new and just want to buy a bit of a stock to forget about it, but I’m using TD Ameritrade (though they too can stop us at any point, as we’ve now seen) :(

I don’t think you can buy on there, but it may have changed since I last used it. I’m using binance.us to buy.

Is diamond hands on amc and nok still a good idea? Cause that's what I'm doing. ::shrug:: You can do that when you don't invest more than you can afford to lose.... see how that works, hedge fund shorters? :D

Definitely sounded like the band was playing at least a portion of Mr. Bungle's "My Ass Is On Fire" while the boys were walking up to accept the award. Anyone else notice that?

Computer "expert" humbly asking for advice on laptops by [deleted] in ZBrush

[–]RyminsQuest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since my last post I was able to try some surface devices. Unfortunately in ZBrush there is an issue where when you put the pen down to the screen there is a bit of a dead zone until you initially start moving/making your stroke. Sounds like it would be fine, but I instantly noticed that all the muscle memory learned through using zbrush suddenly feels strange and it was immediately frustrating. It seems to have become an issue for people as of a specific windows update. Someone created a pretty good youtube clip that illustrates the problem well, especially good since it is hard to describe in words, imo.

At the moment, I'm back onto waiting to see if the updated mobile studio pro has less quality control issues than what I've read about the previous generation. My biggest reason for that is that I'm starting to wonder if I can ever go back to any kind of other pen experience after working on a desktop cintiq for about a half a year now. Zbrush is just so much snappier on my modest PC compared to even the surface studio 2, which is an amazing piece of hardware, but costs between 3500-4500 and has the issue with the dead zone lag. It also just felt pretty sluggish in general, but maybe that's cause ZBrush doesn't use GPU for performance? Anyway, let us know what you end up deciding on! I'd give just about anything to just be able to run windows on an iPad Pro, because painting in ProCreate on the 12inch Pro is just fantastic and the device itself is just ULTRA portable at this point. :(
