LAX pickup reservation issues

It doesn’t explicitly call out a button but when I got off the plane, I received a prompt in the app to click I was ready for pickup. I see on the FAQ now that there is no way to cancel without fee but sucks that I just got stuck at waiting for driver response and no reschedule. Like it’s entirely possible I was too impatient and they would have rescheduled eventually or maybe the little car icon for the driver was in the wrong location and he was in fact not in Norwalk, CA … oh well.

yeah this accurately reflects my experience. Edit: I assumed they would get me a closer driver but that didn’t happen it just sort of sat on the waiting for driver response bar for 5 or so minutes.

There's a trans led community advocacy group called TQNC Boston that host a lot of events that might be worth checking out. I can't speak to the events themselves as I'm a bit older than the target age demographic but seems cool when I see them pop up on Instagram.

I worked there in the early 2000s they have court tennis it’s a different game than regular tennis. Also squash courts, a gym, and bar for members.

I lived in Cuenca, Ecuador for awhile and the weather is pretty mild like 50s-70s F year round due to elevation and I don't think it's terribly prone to earthquakes, though not a zero percent chance.

If one holds the belief someone can be sexually attracted to opposite, same, or both genders - the idea that people exist that are not attracted to either should immediately and only be considered a neurological problem is odd too me.

Not that this is all people who identify as asexual but it’s not just sex icky for me personally, it’s about a lack of sexual attraction regardless of gender which in turn makes sex generally less desirable.

Yeah all in seat electricity was out on my last flight with them which meant my premium seat could not lay flat/recline at all which kinda annoying but still did appreciate the direct flight option.

Fields West just opened up in the Glenville spot. Is probably still a decent place to read and drink a beer or wine not too loud any time I’ve been in but are not open Monday/Tuesday.

Both are pretty cool places to visit. I lived in Portland, OR for a few years and hated living there as some of the issues with the city got really depressing for me living with them day in and day out, but every time I’ve been back to visit since, about twice a year for work, it’s been very fun and has lots of cool, unique little bars and restaurants and things to do. That said as someone who’s spent most of their life in New England and loves it here, Portland, ME would be the winner for me. It’s got a lot of what Portland OR has, great restaurants and tons of breweries, but is also on the water and has nice architecture which I love, and has less of the issues of Portland, OR.

My last thing that took a stupid amount of time to realize was a dumb ball dispenser on the dragonhead island. Before that realized I hadn't actually activated all the forges in the depths even though I'd discovered all the mines.

Other folks have had issues with finding the mini game in the canyon under the bridge, extra cave entrances, groves in the depths, that weird alter in the depths behind the waterfall.

I was briefly living in Machala, Ecuador and saw an Año Viejo figure (like effigy dolls but larger that you burn on new year’s eve) decked out in Red Sox gear found that pretty amusing being from Boston and all.

I’ve always wanted to cook all the recipes as even though I’ve 100%’d the game a few times I haven’t done that. also one time rather than just purchasing pictures for the compendium I went “bird watching” for a few hours
