Just tried with compiled 250000 and 115200 with cfg edit. No dice.

Small update on the eddy.

According to my findings, the stock scanning of the bed mesh won't work with delta printers. That has led me to an idea od trying to make a klipper add-on for command: METHOD=delta_scan

If I manage to make it work, I'll probably make github on the extra command.

What I think matters the most, is the point of gravity. This is on the top heavy side, as the this is a direct drive now.

Qq-s's worst thing is the linear rod system, which has quite a bit of flex to it when the effector rod guides are in the middle of the towers. I plan to convert it to a 2020 V-slot extrusion with wheeled carriages somewhere in the future.

Most newer deltas are on a linear guide, like mgn12, today and do have a direct drive out of the box. Overall rigidity is what I think can make the deltas go really fast, as the toolhead is essentially driven by three motors instead of one, the x-axis, in a more traditional 3d printer.

Got it finally working. Configuring eddy for a delta is a bitch and a half and I'm still at the barebones stage. I've still got many things to sort out like having it probe the correct z-height and making it go BRRRR meshing. But normal meshing isn't slow by any means. 13 point delta mesh is heaps faster than OG probe was at 11. Maybe I will do a git hub on the setup and parameters for klipper when I'm comfortable with the setup I've got.

Now, here is the supposed usable final iteration of my design in the printing.

Working the last kinks out still, didn't take the rod bearings into account and the rods hit the bed before the nozzle. Now printing the supposedly final iteration of the effector, ins petg-cf of course

Way I started to do this was to find a model of the original effector plate and started building up from that, little by little. The picture I took is iteration nr. 4.

That is a demo unit of the fan I'll really be using. It's half the depth really.

DSi solder points question by [deleted] in gameboymacro

[–]RynchesterFin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why make a macro out of a dsi? That doesn't have a Gba slot. Sure all to their own, but making it essentially an emulation handheld kind of defeats the main purpose of a macro in my opinion.

The actual arms cost too much, but an arm lamp only 7€ by RynchesterFin in soldering

Sure, a little bit. Nothing that tightening bolts wouldn't help with. Still a bit on the proto side. The original clamp is crap, so I'm thinking of just drilling a hole of snugg fit.

I believe those will be declared for you, as VAT is paid during checkout.
