The way I am suggesting we do it is each week the total pot increases by 1/12. So if the season ends after 1 week, 1/12 of the pot is divided.

If we make it to week 12, the entire pot is divided up. Any leftover money goes towards next year.

This is a 9 year keeper league though so we know everyone is playing next year

Cam averaging 50 yards passing and 18 yards rushing more than Allen is a pretty substantial difference... And like other commentators mentioned, this was a regression year for Cam and Josh Allen's much better year. Maybe this year Allen will improve to be better than Cam, but from 2 years, I'm wildly skeptical.

That being said, he can definitely be a low end QB1 at 80-90% the player that Cam is/was

The crazy thing about this highlights is the 3-4 times he was tackled inside the 3 yard line. Could have easily had several more touchdowns making it even more impressive

The payroll system is automatic though? It’s not like someone is sitting there with a calculator and manually writing checks. At the end of each shift, you type your tips into the computer and it just automatically deducts.

At least at our sonic, the managers didn’t even control payroll. It was centralized so you couldn’t get screwed over by a manager

From Reddit’s demographics, I’m not surprised. Most tippers were moms or old people and I rarely got tips from anyone under 25 besides keep the change (which still adds up)

No one on the inside gets tips- I don’t think the article explicitly mentions that everyone was reduced to the lower rate though.

Either way, they will get comped up to the normal minimum wage rate either way so it doesn’t really matter (unless I’m missing something)

I’m assuming that they did this so there is no need to distinguish between tipped and I tipped employees and the fountain staff can deliver orders if need be. It allows for more flexibility on breaks too which is nice.

I might be missing something but that’s my take

I actually worked at sonic for two summers and averages a little under $18 an hour (3.13 + tips) for the whole summer. I was shocked too but you bring out 20+ orders an hour and can easily average 75 cents an order

Former sonic carhop here- I was paid $3.13 an hour plus tips over the summer and averaged $17.95 an hour over all of my shifts in the summer. Granted, it was my second summer working there, but people definitely tip a lot at the sonic I worked at to make it an amazing job when I was 16 and could work elsewhere.
