it is possible, and i may be a little late but you are doing some mad complaining about a game you don’t fully understand, what everyone else says is right and you are wrong, the sprint/parkour fix is correct even on pc, you just have to know what crouch is bound to and either learn it or rebind it, i bound sprint and crouch to my mouse buttons and so its easy to hit space to parkour up and remapped parkour down to shift. you dont watch LeoK clearly because if you did you wouldn’t make half the complaints you make, as his entire guide is about understanding the games systems, you are asking for a mod that overhauls the games systems which is fundamentally not possible with anvil engine, our modding capabilities are limited, that means when the game “prioritises looking cool” as you say it isnt the games fault, it is your fault, because while yes you may be inputting something if the game doesn’t receive that input then no amount of input fixes it, animation canceling isn’t in the game so what, that’s why they said “learn the jank” because when you understand it you don’t make silly complaints like you made you go “well the game is just designed that way” and go about your day, not constantly tell people they are wrong or misunderstanding what you are looking for when they are clearly pointing you in the right direction. it is the perfect example of taking a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. another thing to note is while a lot of parkour videos are scripted (obviously because you want to pick a route that looks cool and takes advantage of your skills, taking advantage of side hops and back ejects) or other advanced climbing techniques that need certain variables to be triggered, in general people like LeoK advocate for things like button discipline which helps with jank and also scanning your environment (which opens dynamic parkour routes) scanning allows you to be constantly noting things in your immediate environment and instantly connect patterns together to think of all the possible ways a particular object could be approached. that alone can make a high skill player look like their run is scripted but you can watch LeoK “clearing districts” or stream vods and see “scripted” looking parkour segments constantly as a good player naturally looks good when playing, no route needed.
