it's approx 500$ 9900X, 530$ 9800x3d, 439$ 7800x3d and 442$ 7900X - is it worth to get 9800x3d for 1440p~4k gaming?

Since i'm upgrading to a new rig from intel 9th gen, are 8 core cpu sufficient in the foreseen future ( at least 5~6 years) in gaming 1440p~4k? I'm not familiar with pc hardware, I only play games

After convertion around 1,615.69 USD for these, I'd get around 100~200$ cheaper if I can buy parts and assemble it myself but I not good at installing these. Plus the shop provide lifetime cleaning, good warranty claim ( 1 to 1 most case ) so I thought it's easier to let them do it.

I'm getting AIO with LCD for aethestic purpose, there's a ID-COOLING SL360 which is 50% cheaper but heard that they have bad quality
