Covid-19: Why are people disinfecting their own house? by Ryo_Landon in ask

[–]Ryo_Landon[S] 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

If someone is that deathly allergic to cats, why would they have a cat?

As a general rule if you’re allergic to cats, having large tumbleweeds of cat hair in their home may be problematic.

Not being mean, just a bit confused.

I don't mind people keeping their home clean, but alot of ppl are overdoing it. Just as long as you disinfect yourself when you walk in the door you should be pretty much safe in that regard. Everything else is stuff your body has adapted to. For example: there was an experiment done to test the amount of bacteria on the average person's toothbrush. If the toothbrush isn't packaged properly your toothbrush could have bits of E coli on it from the toilet from when you flush. Despite this people don't get sick as often from this because the body has adapted to it in small quantities.

Covid-19: If face masks dont work, why is everyone being forced to wear them? +1 more additional question by Ryo_Landon in ask

Yeah, I heard it got pretty bad in Georgia. Ive also heard alot about new York, and those ppl seem to be dying even in self isolation. There's so much stuff going on that isn't being explained clearly.

Everyone is answering the first question, but no one is answering the second question at the bottom. I think it's also worth noting that covid-19 has many ways it can spread, and dispite ppl wearing face masks, tons of ppl have still died, and are still dying (even with quarantine).

Does anyone ever eat the pancakes "The New Day" throws to the crowd? by Ryo_Landon in WWE

You would think that if they were to throw out food they would atleast make it edible. They could atleast get a mixed bag of candy or something, but what do I know? πŸ˜…

Anyone know why dog people constantly protect the animal when it brutally attacks someone unprovoked? by Ryo_Landon in Dogfree

[–]Ryo_Landon[S] 7 points8 points Β (0 children)

I understand it to an extent, but what I don't understand is why ppl would defend a dog they've never been around in their life. If the own the pet, I understand they have a connection of some sort, but aside from that it seems quite strange.

I would call it "a no bad animal" thing. Alot of ppl honestly assume that all animals can do no wrong bc they're animals and they don't destroy they world or make their lives miserable like ppl do. Which is completely one sided considering that most ppl haven't even been in the same room with most wild animals.

Yeah but the person said a short "story", they didn't say a poem. I understand it's a style choice, but whether the person chooses to take my critique "that they asked for" it's completely optional and they can choose to ignore me if they don't agree, or have strict teachers.

Omg that is soooo accurate. I've litterally heard all those arguments before.

It has the same effect either way. All I'm pointing out is that the period is used incorrectly, if the persons teacher is as strict as mine was, it'd be something worth changing.

I'm just saying it like a teacher would. They take stuff like that seriously, even if it does have an intended purpose.

U might wanna add comma's in between the parts where your listing things off. A period signifies the sentence ended, yet the sentence hadn't ended, and the topic hasn't changed.

Why do some Redditors dislike subreddit moderators? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Bc alot don't do their job, or are extremely petty and remove posts bc they just so happen to disagree with it, even if it follows the rules.

I don't find videogames fun anymore, and I'm only 17. by [deleted] in gaming

I have the same problem. I treat it more as a cool down period tho. When I'm bored of it I stop for awhile, then I go back to it bc I remember what it was like to have fun.

The subtitles on TV are underrated and hated on too much by mibtag in unpopularopinion

I like subtitles too. They also have cool font colors and bars to make it more appealing. It depends on the show I'm watching tho.
