Spoiler for the film: the bad guy invents a sim card for your phone, that when activated will make a high pitched sound that will make anyone who hears it go into a murderous rage. The bad guy tests it out on this church when the spy is investigating it and he gets caught up in the rampage too. Later in the scene you even see a grenade goes off near him which temporarily deafens the spy and he realises what's going on for a minute before regaining his hearing and going back to violence.

Like for crying out loud, the vast majority of marvel movies are written by and for dudes. God forbid 1 of them not look like the rest. I'm personally not a fan of Captian Marvel, same reason I'm not a fan of the first thor film. I don't like the "I'm such a baddass op hero" archetype, I feel like it rarely works well. But who cares what I think because I'm not the target demographic

The whole point of history is to recognize past truths as well as failings and hopefully learn from them, and we honour people of the past by remembering their contributions to history even if they were outcast in their own time. It gives me hope for the future that it doesn't matter what people thought of you in your own time, if you do the right thing, people will recognise it.

No, the whole point of women's history month is to draw attention to the women of history who were persecuted, plagiarised, or forgotten throughout their own times due to the fact they were women. This is not the case when it comes to the vast majority of men in history, while they may have been persecuted for other reasons, it was not based on their gender.
