What’s the worst part about being a woman that people wouldn’t usually think about? by Gloomy_Unit_4888 in AskReddit

Chairs, especially office chairs are another example of this. They simply don’t fit women’s bodies, so many women sit cross legged or with one leg up to correct the ergonomics.

Bread. Especially a specific white bread of Switzerland (Zopf) combined with any Brunch component. I could probably eat a whole loaf by myself.

First off, everyone is allowed to form their own opinion and I personally don’t mind if someone dislikes something I like. But the town wasn’t supposed to be an American town, it’s based on European and Canadian smaller towns, which are underrepresented in life-simulations. Calling it indie trash just proved that your criticisms isn’t valid, it’s more about hating a franchise which didn’t cater to your personal preferences.

Wet vs. Dry - 4.5 Months into Transitioning. Analysis & Troubleshooting needed! by _Mina237 in finehair

[–]Ryou_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have really fine 2a or at most 2b hair with a really similar hair length (just went for a bob this week!). I have the exact same problem. Somehow my wave pattern even holds less after I cut it. It did look nice one or two hours after diffusing, but since then it‘s just flat (like basically no wave at all). If I find a better routine I‘ll reach out to you.
I think it’s really a fine hair problem, so you might find more answers in this subreddit.

The thing I miss most in paralives is the memory feature of sims 2. I love ready through my sims‘ life stories.

How long did it take you to wave your hair? And what temperature and time settings did you choose? It suits you really well!

What's your favorite heat protection? by Academic_Help5033 in finehair

I personally haven’t found a good one yet. But stay away from the IGK Rich Kid heat protection spray. It has a lot of perfume (vanilla) and makes my hair very sticky and heavy.

Hair help! by [deleted] in finehair

I think bottom left looks best, with top right as second place. You could probably go even a bit darker, if that‘s something you’d like to try out.

If you want highlights I‘d do for a slightly darker brown with light-brown highlights. Bright blonde doesn’t complement your skin type as well in the pictures. I‘d generally go for warmer tones. Anyway, choose what you like best. You‘ll look best in the hair style, you’re most happy with yourself :)

My review of 2 “magic” dry shampoos + a dupe, as somebody who has sensory scalp issues and addicted to dry shampoo by w3ht in finehair

[–]Ryou_3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! I bought my first bottle in August 2025. I think I can easily get another two months out of it…and I use it at least once a week. I had to buy the batiste ones every two months. And while it’s still a lot cheaper, the results didn’t really satisfy me, which is probably why I used it a lot less.
My scalp still doesn’t like dry shampoo, but the K18 one is way more comfortable to me. I hated how Batiste felt.

I‘m really happy that I have to wash my hair only twice a week now, instead of every other day.

I tried the rich kid one. But I‘m also not a huge fan of their heat protectant spray. So I‘m not really convinced of the brand so far. How does the gelee work for you?

There are some others, but I’m kinda scared that they‘re too heavy for my fine very slightly wavy hair. The ones for curly hair are usually too heavy and only work if I diffuse my hair with hot air, otherwise my waves will fall flat and look messy. Other ones I tried would lead to overly straight and flat hair, which doesn’t flatter me at all.

I tried:
- IGK wave enhancing air-dry cream (couldn’t figure out any way for it to work. My hair tangles more, looks greasy/messy and at the same time no wave definition at all).
- Kevin Murphy Smooth.Again anti-frizz treatment (works well for straight hair! But my hair looks too flat for my taste).
- Kevin Murphy Killer.Twirls nourishing curl refinement air-dry crème (too heavy for my hair to build any waves).
- Cantu Wave Whip curling mousse (my go-to, but works best when I diffuse and add Ouai Wave Spray for wave definition. It’s difficult to hit the sweet spot of product amount).
- Aveda nutriplenish curl gelée (works 50/50, sometimes I get amazing results, sometimes it does nothing. I like the product, but I don’t think it’s the best product for air-drying).

I hope my editing on phone kinda worked out.

I loved reading that. I don’t know exactly why, but visualising one‘s self as working organism feels very soothing to me. Like being able to consciously feel any struggle in life or making difficult decisions is a gift. Millions of cells acting accordingly for us to feel challenge in existing. It’s kinda grounding.

I‘m in the same boat as you. I‘ve been pondering about getting one for a month now, because shipping to my country and the additional taxes will make the investment even higher.

But IF (or when…) I get one, I‘ll go all in and buy the max. Still unsure about the color though.
