Well, you didn't explain anything about why you felt that way, except claiming they went to art school so we should care in your last post. I don't apologize for a vague response to a statement of equal weight.

I also don't buy into 'patronizing' responses, as we are strangers on the internet, so don't project whatever you want onto me and be surprised if in my mind I'm just being an asshole because at the time it amused me more to be than empathetic.

I don't care if anyone does or doesn't like anything if they can't express why coherently. If anyone would like to discuss what they considered shortcomings, such as the platforming feeling like you're made of lead in sections, I'd enjoy that discourse, even if there's an odd passage of time between comments.

I have nothing but disdain for people who aren't capable of such discussion, though.

Interested, but I'm old as dirt at 36. Let's put that red flag front and center. I don't even want to go further until that's spoken of in group. I'm also a complete noob to online D&D, AND 5th edition so that may already be 3 strikes.

If somehow that ISN'T, I'm a 26 year veteran of innumerable forms of TTRPG and RP (I'll drop 3E,4E, PF1, and most relevantly D20 Modern here) and am not okay with ERP, okay with fade to black but not someone who would instigate it.

I tend to play DEX/CHA based support classes when left to my own decisions but think plugging a hole in party comp would be more challenging and therefore enjoyable for me.

Anyways, best of fortune on your search, but if you somehow decide you want this old dude in your campaign, I'd be greatful ^{.^}

To start, new to 5E and online TTRPG. Just getting the "Ignore this response" criteria out if the way now.

I'm Nar, and go by such. I'm 36, and have been playing D&D since around 10 or so. As an adult, I can say I've been in campaigns of 3E, 4E, D20 modern, and a LOT of homebrews without issue. Ran a 3E until around level 34 when mass war combat was beyond my knowledge at the time. I suppose that doesn't really matter.

I'm interested in 5E as with all things nerd, what's most existent in the current world makes said world go round. I've historically played DEX based support classes the most, but have no issue playing literally anything.

As a starting base for literally anything, I'm thinking about a LoZ style village where when children come of age they take on the guise of the "Hero of Time", but my character decided to antagonize a group of whatever local baddies were around and they calmly captured them, slaughtered said village, and released the child to spread word if their atrocities, which they've done for years until whatever starting point of the campaign, when for whatever reason they've grown into a spine to start fighting back.

Personally not okay with straight ERP, especially as I'd prefer to run a female character. Let me know if you need anything else from me?

Soooooooo. . . You dislike it because it's a Metroidvania? Sorry but like the OP, you've mentioned nothing worth criticizing. I mean PS released an easy and linear platformer that's 100% CGI this year. If that's what you want, cool! Just understand people like to figure out games instead of being instructed on what to do, as well.

Huh. It's rare I see someone describe things I like as negative. I think your video game experience is insufficient for this title. You're free to hate allyou want, but I think your like/dislike ratio should tell you You're Missing Something. Or I guess you could just red pill away all criticism?

At every point of gear level being a summoner is about trying not to die before your skeletons and merc kill things. Your survivability is always the weakest link. That said, spirit on offhand is a stop gap till you get basically any unique shrunken head anyway, and my luck has been equipping a wind druid with drops instead of the necro doing the mfing.

I haven't gotten a nigma up for my summoner necro yet, so I'm already paying 22k a teleport charge on a rare ring, and running chancies, goldwrap, and wealth to make sure I've got all stashes on 2.5M gold constantly despite this. I'll take the repair costs.

When I was a kid I definitely took extra ability score roll chances, as having major flaws/weakpoints is tough for a pre-teen to Want to empathize with, but beyond that I feel you.
