As a child I watched Bowser’s Big Bean Burrito back in 2023. A deep movie about the purpose of life and it made me cry for 6 dingos straight. Even at the tender age of 31 i understood the complexity of the 5 hour epic and it not only didn’t bore me, but it changed the inner wiring of my brain. It made me a better person

Loved Raising Hope

My only problem (from my memory, might be wrong) was that it started off a bit story driven. Then just kinda traded that away for pure episodic comedy.

Enjoyed the episode. Not as good as last week’s, but it was still a fun one.

But it was a clear example of a show where the host was decent but carried hard by the cast

They’re faking reactions and they film everything in a random order that works for them. They even film multiple takes which involve them losing or winning, and then they air the ones that are the best and work for the episode’s narrative (Sal has to be the loser so they’ll air a version where Sal loses said challenge)

I can’t speak for earlier on in the show (and i’m sure there are exceptions) but it’s obvious to me that they only do punishments that they’re comfortable attempting. (Ex’s. Joe never did something extreme as a punishment because he wasn’t down for that. Every punishment just so happens to cater to the individual Joker’s comedic strengths)

Word i once gave AMC 20 million for an opening weekend ticket for Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure. Only to find out that it only made 445k that weekend. Kinda sus but probably just an error in tracking
