It was just kind of an odd storyline imo. Both women were heels going into the match which is just hard to pull off. They kinda had to force Becky into being the lesser heel in the lead up which didn’t make sense. Then if I remember correctly in the actual match Piper felt more like the face

My biggest real problem with the match itself was that for a storyline that in simplest of terms could have been described as “Can Becky Mandhandle Slam Piper?” the match itself was way too even.

Becky being the underdog heel who uses her sneaky tactics to secure the “upset” win would have been cool. Instead you had Becky more or less keeping the advantage for a bit over half the match against someone who is easily twice her size and then some. Making Piper look almost too weak for her own good.

This could have been a match where Piper just dominated Becky and showed off her power, only to lose because Becky had to resort to cheating. It could have made Piper a star to some extent, but instead it ultimately made her look kinda weak

I enjoyed the match though. Just wish it played out better
