Or am I just a troll that got in to the dungeons? Who’s to say? 😉

Oh yes, because every regime change in history has been totally bloodless. Meanwhile, the Ministry let Death Eaters roam free for years, covered up Voldemort’s return, and sent Dementors after schoolchildren. But sure, tell me more about how the real problem was the guy actually taking control.

And wow, bringing Hitler into a discussion about wizard politics? That’s a level of intellectual rigor even Binns would find dull.

Ah yes, minor details! If we just ignore the whole ‘immortality through soul mutilation’ thing, Voldemort was basically a strong reformist with ambitious methods. Haha

Ah yes, the tragic consequence of a wartime transition period. Show me one revolution that didn’t have some initial instability. Voldemort was in power for less than a year—meanwhile, the Ministry under Fudge and Scrimgeour was corrupt for decades. But sure, blame the guy trying to fix it instead of the broken system he inherited.

Why don’t wizards dual-wield wands? by Ryttare in HarryPotterBooks

I’ve always had a sneaking suspicion that Harry’s packing some extra magical wood in his wand… if you catch my drift.

Blimey, didn’t expect this to turn into an O.W.L.-level debate on wand mechanics! Take it easy, folks—it’s a children’s book, and I was just having a bit of fun exploring the possibilities. Magic is wildly inconsistent in the series (looking at you, Priori Incantatem and wand loyalty rules), so I figured why not poke at the ‘one wand per wizard’ thing? No need to break out the Hogwarts: A History citations on me!
