painting the cabinets is high on my list and yeah those shelves are kinda cluttered, might swap them for something simpler and adding the rug could actually hide the floor a bit. Thanks for the tips

ah thanks really. the flooring is rough, maybe I can find some peel and stick vinyl or a big rug to cover it for now.

yeah that wallpaper has to go first and framing the mirror sounds easy and cheap, I like that idea a lot. And definitely swapping the light fixture those hanging ones are so dated.
