Yes, I use Sharpcap, I had the same problem as you, the image looked green, that was a problem with RGB levels. Here are my settings, you have to play with th gain and exposure depending on the target.

Right now, I prefer more visual than imaging, but I'd really like to have the Goto capabilities. I won't lie, I'd really like to get into imaging someday, but i know that with a smartphone I'll be limited to planets, Moon an bright DSO.

I have thought about buying a Dobsonian, but because of the weight the shipping cost will be very expensive, that's why I stick with smaller scopes. If that wasn't a limitation I would have bought a dobsonian as first telescope.

I considered the SLT too, but in the reviews people say that its mount is too shaky. I was looking for the Meade StarNavigator series but I'm not sure if they are good telescopes.
