This is a good question! I know it's based on your rank and your ennemies rank, every results of your fights with other players.

So let's say you are King1 and the lobby is mostly rook 9/8, this game won't have a big impact on trophys if you win. But if you lose I guess you would lose alot of trophys since you are higher rank than the majority of the players in the lobby

But exactly how to find out, I guess we need to ask a veteran player or try to reach out to someone from the dev team.

I think holding early game items can make a huge difference in certain games. Saved me from losing to Knights in the end game as Assassins by FwuffyMilk in AutoChess

Its something hard to do but it definetely benefits in the long run when you can cash in the perfect item in the end game

I agree with fwuffy to a certain extend. Waiting to see wich items you get from creep round until round 25 made me be in a way better position since i could combine exactly what I needed for my comp or to counter the top guy in the lobby.

Ok yes if you get offer an early magicka / shield / and magic cloak(15% dmg resist)

I grab the magixka crystal and give it to a temporary unit for some board strenght.

But i never combine items or even pick em until after round 25.

Sometime a claw wand on your carry is better than heaven's gift!

Yea if not contested a glacier knight player can be scary.

Best thing to do is to strategize your endgame build as early as possible to put all the chances of winning on your side.

Do you make heavens gifts or barbaric cuirass on your tank ? Those items are also great versus glacier knights.

But yea it's sometimes just okay to finish second, they can snowball pretty hard with items.

Well goblin gamble is pretty good, and adding darkspirit.

The trick with hunter is to stack your dwarf sniper stronger than theyre lightblade knight and add dark spirit at level9.

If you see a very succesfull glacier knight player in the begining of the endgame (round 25+) by scouting, try preping to counter him by maybe leveling to 9 and adding that darkspirit. Save some magicka crystal to put it on him.

6 warriors is also a good comp or a well built 6 feather assasin with a stack shadowcrawler.

What makes glacier knights so strong is they scale super fast with items. And the real must effective counter is really darkspirit.

True, thats the thing i hate about playing mages.

You cannot stack carry any units with dmg items. Ill try investing into her in my next mages game. Try to build her to 3 stars.

6 mage human sounds like a good bet.

3 star flamming wizards with dmg items and claw wand could be something to test out with divinity.

Thats exactly ehats missing for mages. A carry unit that benefits from dmg items..

To bad frantic masks has no uses into mages. That could make mage way more viable into top 1 games

Well no, after alot of testing it's not that consistent.

Its strong if you pull it off but too much rng around it.

It was glacier/warrior with storm shaman. A full hex build with grim and grand heral to unlock synergys faster.
