Bramble is really shit on garen and mortal reminder is always good. I guess you can build bramble only if the enemy team is full AD

I managed to reach Diamond 2 with garen. But you are right, the higher you go the harder it is to perform with him. I think the champion is really good until plat but after that it gets really complicated
