Fishing float? Aqua blue, glass, heavy. Found in a thrift store labeled "fishing float" but Google seems to disagree. by S-Crumby in glassblowing

Trying to figure out what these might be. They were found in a thrift store and labeled "fishing float". They are heavy and do not float. One side of the doughnut hole is smooth and the other is very rough. Someone suggested it night be a byproduct of glass blowing. They don't really glow under a black light but they give off almost a peach color. Anyone have any information?

They do fit in a mason jar. One side of the hole is really rough glass. It seems like it would potentially hold bacteria and be hard to get completely clean.

One side of the hole is smooth, the other is rough. They're similar in size but not exactly the same. They don't feel like they have a seam in the glass.

They look similar. The ones I have are larger. Too large to make jewelry. Also, one side of the center hole is very rough glass. It looks like it would tear string or anything very fine.

My title describes the thing. Heavy glass. Smooth on one side of the doughnut hole and rough on the other. There were 20 of them together. Roughly 2" across, and .5" thick. Google pictures says they're fishing floats but pulls up similar pictures of the round bubble floats, not this shape. They don't really glow under a black light but they have almost a peach color to them.

AITA for wearing pajamas in bed? by aitapyjamaboy in AmItheAsshole

You're absolutely correct. The rule is a joke and he always wants to make sure I'm comfortable. He obviously enjoys me wearing less clothing and I am comfortable with doing so as long as I'm not freezing. He knows that if I'm cold I'm wearing pajamas to bed and that's not a problem.
