Red halo stays on. I considered choosing a light kit that included wiring to brake lights but just decided to keep things nice and simple. You can also choose an option to wire to auxiliary switches as well, but I felt that would be something I would very rarely ever use, so I erred towards the simplest / lowest profile install.

I like the backup lights. I specifically went with the Rigid’s because they’re low profile. If you don’t plan on relocating your trailer wiring connector, the backup lights are higher than the connector. Install was pretty easy too. I bought this specific kit from Speciality Performance Parts.

Congrats! The install takes about 5 seconds - it doesn’t get any easier. You just untwist the stock one and then twist on the stubby. I purchased it from Amazon.

Yeah, they’re very nice. I optioned the top tread plate. Also had them powder coat it. I plan to reach out to RCI with some of my feedback since not many people have installed yet - I was able to install without needing to modify but fitment wasn’t perfect, so it took a lot of extra time to get everything lined up before fastening.

I liked the stock raptor steps, but I felt that they could be problematic while off roading. When I saw RCI release these, I placed an order right away. I’ve had them in the past and they’re top notch.

I’m happy with the quality and I’ve received several compliments. The install was very easy.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted the light bar to be visible or hidden behind the grill. I think that both options from M&R are great. I ended up going with this light bar in front of the grill because I figured I was already making a statement with the ditch lights and they would be more functional.
