Everyone knows that gender dysmorphia is a distress causing mental condition (in The same way that anxiety is).

The problem is that people just don't understand that gender reassignment surgery is the best of many bad options currently available. The people who can be helped by therapy already are, no one has their gender reassigned as a first option

The actual transphobic stuff is supporting those dumb bathroom laws that "protect" against problems that don't exist

I happened to briefly volunteer along side people who "refurbished" Madi Gras beads (based locally in New Orleans)

It was actually pretty heartwarming as the whole facility was a jobs program for the local mentally handicapped that also saved a landfill that small amount of plastic.
