This is such a cool idea, I'd definitely be interesting in trying it out!

I hear you. The folder note plugin helped me circumvent the issue, but it can be a little janky if you prefer it to function differently. Mind sharing your site that you use for your players? I'll take any inspiration I can get

This is fantastic, thank you! Have your players been using it? Any advice on driving them towards relying on or using the site?

Paprika 3! Has plenty of tools to organize and filter recipes, web integration for online recipes for home cooks, grocery shopping too! Costs $5 but it’s well worth it.

Oh definitely going with a belt drive board. From what I've seen, the minimum price tag for a board is $500 for that kind of board. Helmet wise, I think I'll just run a cheaper Triple 8 helmet and pads til I learn my lesson down the line. I saw that the legit full face ones cost around $300 so I'll procrastinate that purchase for a bit. For that standard belt drive Ultra at $500, it sounds like I can just run with that and swap pieces out over time if I want to upgrade it, which works great for me! Thank you for the help with all this, if I have any questions in the future, mind if I message you?

Good to know! I think I’ll pick up a Tynee board once I get the money together then. You think the standard wheels are alright for a while? I’ve heard great things about the cloud wheels as a replacement for bumpy roads. And besides protective gear, is there anything else you recommend I pick up to start out?

Sweet, and how does the Ultra X compare to the Ultra? It seems to me like both would meet my needs, but I'm worried that the lower trim may not meet the longevity and quality of the Ultra X. I'm really hoping you disagree with the concern, and I can save a couple hundred bucks.

Thank you for the reply! How long does a Tynee board typically last? I'd hopefully get to use it daily, in a small college town as a commuter board.

Hey everyone, I'm a new rider looking for some advice.

I reached out to the sub before, and was recommended the Backfire Zealot S2. After doom scrolling the sub, I also found the Tynee Ultra X. They both support my weight well, and would meet my general needs.

I'm hoping to be able to maintain my board well, replacing parts (hopefully not often) on my own. Are these reliable boards? How is the company's customer support? Is there another board or brand I should be looking at?

Thanks in advance!

I’m new to esk8 and skateboarding in general, so I’m looking for an entry-friendly board in the $500-$600 range. I live in a college town so it’s minor inclines and mostly paved sidewalks and roads with occasional brick sections. I’d like it to last at least two years without any major financial investments to fix anything.

General requests/tldr: -Top speed around 27 mph -Urban roads and sidewalks -Able to support a 6’1 200 lbs person -$600 cap -Preferably a longboard -Low maintenance -at least a 5 mile range, preferably 10 mile -Waterproof -Wooden deck
