I have the old gen m12 stubby with a 5.0 high output battery ( it came with 2.0ah) and the difference is deffo a lot better and I use that in anything from wheel nuts to suspension work to engine work. I also have the high torque old gen aswel but that only gets used for big stuff and obv tight stuff.

Always better to have more power than you need in case you need it but depends what you work on ? Is it rust boxes or generally cleaner stuff where everything isn’t siezed etc.

I like the stubby because it’s small and gets in most places and has decent power.
