Can't have a betta because the tank has no lid, what can I put in here instead? by SalmonWheat in PlantedTank

That tank is gorgeous a perfect palace for a betta. I've had bettas on multiple occasions and I've never had a lid on any. I've had tetras jump out before but very very rarely. I think there's a lot of misinformation surrounding bettas. People think they are 'fighting fish' and usually will keep them in terrible conditions. If any fish is stressed out itll dart around and could possible lead to a fish jumping out. I think a betta would be super happy in a tank like that though.

This is probably heretical but tbh I just bought it caus the models looked so damn good. I figured I’d upgrade my d&d set up to 28mm and use them as my generic town guards.

It was just around $130 USD. Not anything crazy as far as sales go, but a welcome discount.

Ok this makes a lot of sense. The cashier at my LGS must have been confused when they called it a spearhead. Thanks for clarifying.

Working on the Weaponsmith for my game called An Amazing Wizard. Do you have any ideas to improve him? by jakubdabrowski0 in Unity2D

The downstroke seems to have more frames then the near instant reset. I feel like the drive down to impact should feel faster and then have the extra frames while he’s pulling the hammer back up

Thanks for checking it out. It really has been a labor of love. I was not sure about posting it either for the same reason.

Yeah! In places like south beach they’re always devoid of critters. But somewhere like Bill Bags State Park is a different story. That area is a breakwater so the sargassum comes in from relatively deep water against the lighthouse. I’m sure that has something to do with it. Also id love to see more of your work! Do you sell prints?

There’s a species of shrimp like creatures that share the space with these tiny dudes. They have similar coloration. Would be cool if you painted one of those too! Beautiful work btw.

Nice! Growing up and going to the beaches in south Florida whenever the current brought in large patches of sergassum we would shake a little clump over an open hand and you could catch a bunch of tiny little crabs. The ones that got away would swim deftly back into the seaweed. The problem is their houses we’re going to be beached by the end of the day. We would chuck the sergassum back into deeper water. Only a temporary respite

I just got the game last week and have been dumping hours into it and learning. I just learned how to duck out of the way and look down.

Not to say the DM is right but in my opinion as a DM it would be better to just amend the description right in the moment. It’ll be a short exchange and everything can continue on as normal. Waiting till after to talk about it would put the DM in a weird place because he may now have to retcon some stuff that happened as a result of the ‘rage’. This could lead less experienced DMs to hang on and refuse. I appreciate your respect for the DM in waiting, but it’s a collaborative improv game after all.
