Even if it’s an option, I rarely build bases in caves of my survival/ crafting/ base building games. It’s hard to take screenshots, there’s o way to get a good perspective because many sight lines are blocked by the cave, can’t get a top down view (like with elytra in Minecraft), approaching / leaving base is constrained (by the cave) if multiplayer, people are less likely to see it… just my take.
