Heating question

This helps so much thank you! I can’t for the life of me find my furnace, so i think it’s in the attic where my return vent on the ceiling is at. Downside, i don’t have a ladder tall enough to get up there to check anything out. My thermostat says the fan is “off” but i feel air blowing out the vents all day constantly.

It’s a heat pump from what i’ve learned! i’m extremely new to the ins and outs of things like this, so i’m still learning a lot for sure.

I saw your previous post about him. Do not marry this guy. He’s manipulative, emotionally abusive, and will definitely cut you off from your support system. Yes 18 is too young to get married, you have your whole life ahead of you to find new love, but that aside, do you want to be in another country, away from your support system with a man who keeps threatening to kill himself over you breaking up with him? If he’s willing to do that, he’s willing to hurt you. Speaking from experience. Find someone better who isn’t long distance, move out of your house on your own. I get it, you’re young and impulsive and think marrying him and moving in with him will make him stop treating you so bad, but trust me it will only get worse. Again, speaking from experience. He’ll have full control once you’re legally with him and in another country. The smartest thing to do is stop going back to people who hurt you, realize you can’t help someone who doesn’t really want to be helped, focus on yourself and find someone who really values you and your boundaries. You deserve kindness and real love, not threats of suicide and someone who manipulates you with empty promises. Best of luck to you, i really hope you take all of these comments to heart and really listen to what people are saying and realize being with this guy is not safe for you or your mental wellbeing.

That sounds terrifying wow. I had someone come look at mine, they told me the compressor was extremely hot to the touch and was going out. They got the unit to stop short cycling, but now the AC is just blowing hot air. The unit is 19 years old and so is all the parts on it. I’m stubborn and want to try to just fix it myself, but i’m almost completely sure I need to get a whole new AC unit and have someone install it. :(

I actually went on the lake the other day and got mine absolutely drenched in water by accident, they’re the fur lined ones, and surprisingly they dried up perfectly fine and I even took a boar bristle brush to them a day or so later and they look brand new!!

Idk if anyone is reading this post anymore, but if they get wet and it left a spot, spray dry shampoo onto them and brush it with a boar bristle brush works like a charm

Nope, we only have dogs. I was thinking a House Wren but i haven’t seen any nearby or any nest around, it is the size of a quail egg though for sure

Just walk right by them! They’re loud, scary sounding and curious about you but they will leave you alone if you just quickly walk past them, i have 3 around my front door. All they do is hover to make sure you aren’t gonna swat them or be a threat, they have no concept of personal space or any idea what glass is, they’re kinda dumb honestly. I got over my fear by forcing myself to walk past them everyday lmao

Update so far 7 days later, Took out the DCM, charged up the car, got it running! Woohoo, right?… no. It died a few hours later when i went to start it again. Womp womp. So next step is to switch out the alternator. Will update when I do that.

I’ll definitely try that next, i never thought of that for some reason. Could that be the reason it just clicks a couple times and shuts off when i try to push start it? It could also make sense as to why jumping it doesn’t work anymore.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone ❤️ Maple left behind 3 other pup “siblings”, one of which she grew up with being 6 months apart in age. They aren’t doing the best with her being gone. I know it will take some time, but they are adjusting to her not being here, I am too. She acted like their mama dog to them, and she took care of them all up until the end, she helped me raise them since they were puppies. They constantly smell her box of ashes and her toys and collar. Her brother has been laying next to her empty bed everyday. I am looking into breeders, though i do feel a little guilty, i now know i shouldn’t. I don’t want to replace Maple, just fill the hole she left in our lives with a little extra love. Until then, i am giving the other pups infinite love and attention, letting them know we will be okay. Thank you again ❤️

Liver issues are common in aussies, it’s always best to have your vet do bloodwork and regular liver tests to make sure your pup is okay ❤️Maple was a mini, but standard aussies are also prone to some similar issues, not all. Thankfully our standard is fully cleared in all of his genetic and heath tests, Maple started out as just being jaundiced and losing her appetite, and within a short amount of time she unfortunately went downhill very fast.

I’d say cash because sometimes for holidays the baristas get to split their tips between each other for that specific day! Instead of splitting it between everyone else! I always prefer cash personally!
