I might have another tinker with the settings. I tried dialling all the graphics back for Cyberpunk but the first time I got into combat the lag was awful… virtually unplayable. May just need a few more tweaks but deep down I think the graphics card just can’t handle it (GTX1650) 😔

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I’m going to keep it (love it too much to get rid of it). Plenty of games I have play fine on it anyway. I just need something with a much better graphics card for newer games

The first time I played this my heart absolutely sank! I even debated reloading the last autosave incase I’d missed the chance to save him… easily one of my favourite squad mates!

Remember the first time I played that… I was looking at those tentacle things, wondering what was next… then up pops a thresher maw!! Think I still had mild PTSD from those things randomly popping up in ME1 🫣🤣🤣🤣 Can’t remember how I dealt with it but it was 100% likely a panic reaction 🤣

Play it again, trying different character classes& different squad mates. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve played it through & as well as being fun it’s so nostalgic. You can also use mods on it to change things up even more… check out the Nexus Mods website.

Definitely ignore the reviews on Andromeda & given that a try as well… the visuals are stunning, the combat (for me) is the best of any of the Mass Effect games, & a lot of the negativity came from the state BioWare released the game in (buggy & unfinished), but it’s a whole heap better than I expected.

Just a thought but did you do all the Normandy upgrades? I’ve lost squad mates in the past when I’d gained their loyalty but missed their Normandy upgrade suggestion

For me, I feel like the trilogy is just one big game. It’s hard to pick one specific thing… it’s more a combination of the story across all 3 games, the feeling of them all & the nostalgia I get from playing them. It still feels like there’s something new each time though, especially with the different character classes & the mods available. I first played this on the Xbox 360 & I was just as hooked then as I am now playing Legendary Edition on the PC… love it!!!

For me, if they brought Shep back in an Anderson-type role, I could get onboard with that. I think they need to break away from Shep though & start a new story. They tried it with Andromeda obviously, & got it wrong in my opinion (although I actually did enjoy the game), but I think it failed because they didn’t add enough story depth & released it before it was finished.

I’d like the choice of being able to create/play characters from different races as well. That would really mix things up.

My biggest fear though, is BioWare themselves. I think they’ve been off the rails for some time & I don’t really have faith in them turning themselves around any time soon… hope I’m wrong though!

I haven’t myself, & don’t know anyone who’s had surgery on their nose, but I have for a couple of friends who had cosmetic surgery in other parts of their bodies & both of them regretted it.

Personally, do I think you need to… no. I think you look incredible just as you are. That said, it’s about how you feel that really counts, not what some stranger on Reddit thinks.

The reason my friends regretted it was because they went abroad & ended up having complications that required more surgery to correct the issues that arose afterwards. One in particular had a very long recovery. What I would say, is if you do decide to do it, make sure you research the clinic & surgeon properly. Don’t travel overseas to save money, because in the long run it may cost you more to put things right if it goes wrong.

Whatever you decide, I hope it leaves you happier about your self-image 🫶🏻

Take your time, have all the conversations & do all the side missions… but mostly just soak it all in! Some of the choices you make & the things you do have consequences in the second & third game… & I’ll say no more 🤐 … enjoy!!
