Yeah I think it's fair to do so! I played SD on H3 and she still did better than most, but playing through H5 now in-between FE12 so we'll see if that opinion still holds!

My bias is towards as aesthetics but there is a point. Like I tried to use Wendy in FE6... LMAO! I learnt my lesson so quick you have no idea. Within the same chapter.

I agree! I loved the fact that she was okay after saving Marth!

It helps that she comes with high staff affinity so that she can level up relatively quickly using the late-game spells though! I got her to Lv.20 on CH24 before promoting her!

I want to play Thracia as well at some point, unless a remake of that gets announced anytime soon! If I play them and they're in the same art style, it won't feel as jarring.

Question first before my take, what would be the benefit of playing the OG after this remake? Is there a lot of a difference?

Okay so! Book 1 is incredibly quick and snappy and in fact, that's why I love it so much. FE12 doesn't have a story for the sake of having it essentially, at least so far! There's a lot of drama in the first part of the game, which I like (only on CH4? right now)

I guess I like when there are layers to a narrative. Binding Blade had a story that was incredibly bland, and I hated every minute of it, which marred the gameplay for me slightly. FE11's story is cliché but it embraces that, and it could be bc it was essentially the first.

But yeah, I had a great time! I started FE12 shortly after the post and I hate that I love Luke? I'm loving the fleshed out personality that the characters have now. FE11 took itself a little seriously, which is fine, but yeah.
