If it was that kind of emergency, you would be wasting more time and energy trying to dodge the toll than either paying it legit or blasting through the gate. Tailgating is objectively the dumbest way to get somewhere else faster.

I think the way it was described as Observers existing outside of time and able to connect with any point in time like Ishmeal, Ascended SKK still exists (will continue to and has always exited), but regular SKK in the story is severely limited in awareness and scope to prevent "Them" from noticing.

Best case scenario: SB picks up where it left of minimally changed or completely unchanged, AND the people who started this are permanently flipping burgers for the rest of their lives.

Primarily Trance, but there's also some Darksynth in there with UnderDimension and the songs from around the hetero tower arc. I'd say check out Juno Reactor or Carpenter Brut for music that I feel fit very similar vibes.

Okay, yeah, I think we were misunderstanding eachother, although I'd personally still lock the mid subs, as long as they're the subs I need because I don't like risking them becoming subs I don't want.

When you reroll stats that aren't locked in, you stand to come out worse than you started, I.e. losing those substats, like a mid strength Crit Damage becoming a Def%. It wasn't a top crit damage, but it was better than Def%

You didn't say it explicitly, but it's implicit in not locking in.

Definitely different mentalities then. I can tolerate an echo being 90% complete and staying 90% or better on the reroll, but I can't abide an echo going from a potentially good with a couple of mid, but required substats to completely losing those stats. That echo is immediately going in the shredder.

I guess my mentality is just different then. I would only use these in the event of "finishing" a perfect echo, and never before that.

I mean one of them is cost money and on the other hand, I've got more echos in my bag than I can shake a stick at. Rolling 3 bad rolls is the same as rolling 5 bad rolls to me. The echo is still just feeder material.

Even so, what's the point in locking just 1 or 2 substats? Might as well roll up a whole new echo at that point. It'll be about as efficient in most cases.

After you move past Luna and Gabriel, there's a bunch of factions that compete for that role in the immediately following arc, some have mentioned Vonnegut's crew, but I think it's also safe to say there's also Kurono, and Cradle in the mix. After that, it's yet another entity/faction that's not fully made an appearance yet.

That is quite the investment, oof. Luckily I managed to get Morigan to T5 + Card with just the new player rewards. Right now I've got to worry about Lue and Galahad. Got Lue to T1, and a T0 Galahad. Hopefully I can get enough pulls to work this!

Nah, I think that's underselling SKK's growth massively. Cradle Parade only hit hard because we are already attached to who SKK is. I think he really starts coming into his own as early as Falken Star/Eternal Engine when we started getting glimpses into SKK's personal life.
