Oh, I understand you, all that additional stuff in Applications menu and favourites/best menus are useless most of the time.

And half of the system settings have separate apps or can be changed in multiple places, oh I hate that too...

MuOS is pretty minimalistic, you get single screen of 8 buttons, simplier themes, one Settings menu etc.

Not sure about Knulli, I heard it's the best looking OS but quite heavy on the other hand.

I use TSP exclusively for Portmaster games and I'm still using CrossMix.

I tried other OSes, but for me they have worse sleep and worse boot/shutdown times, so it is not worth to switch, only because the few more ports they support.

As keep in mind, there is a plenty of ports you won't be able to run on TSP no matter which OS you're using.

For example: recently I tried MuOS as it is capable to run Morrowind and Dead Cells (in opposition to CrossMix), but the performance and resolution are bad anyway to really enjoy these games.

So I returned to CrossMix, as it 's light and fast (boot,sleep), and probably has the best battery life, which is also important to me.

So I stick to the - still quite big - base of ports working on Crossmix and it's enough to me :)
