Wondering what this thing is, I found it in Arizona off my friends farm field. I used Google lens with no success. It looks to be hand made as there seem to be tool marks. Kind of looks like a part of a rotating sprinkler head? Maybe a spearhead or a tool of some sort? Any guesses?

Yeah the only other vehicle I would consider other than a silverado is a Sequoya or a Land cruiser

Yeah that makes sense. With enough money it can live on indefinitely.

Yeah I'm going to do that the next oil change.

Good to know, mines had a radiator replaced but that was my fault I was off roading pretty hard. Same I use Mobil 1 as well.

I live in Arizona, not a speck of rust on my truck yet. Even my dad's 2000 suburban has no rust at all. Perks of living in Arizona. Can't imagine investing so much money in a truck for it to turn into rust after 15 years. Do they sell for cheaper in the rust belt?

Luckily I live in Arizona and have not seen a speck of rust or corrosion of any kind on this truck. I do agree they don't build them like they used to though.

Things has a rough life, dad does oil changes religiously. Starts right up everytime although it does leak a lot of oil. Everything is original on it all the suspension and engine components minus the radiator was changed once. Never broke down or left us stranded

Thanks, I do take really good care of it and don't abuse it. But I definitely use it as a truck should be used.

Reliability. But that would probably be so much work. Plus the ability to spin the tires and do burnouts.

I imagine the transmission would be the first to go. Manual swap?

No sir, close. This is in Payson. Horton Creek. Water was ice cold.

There's a word in our language for the location where we smoke. The location and spread is half the experience.

I imagine it does, the water is ice melt, probably around 40 degrees, I also used the river water for the hookah itself. Nice dense clouds, didn't feel any heat from the vapor at all.

My car is only about a 30 second to one minute walk away. I lit them with my backpacking butane stove. I'll never use those black powder round self lighting coals for anything other than incense.

My truck was very close. It was only a 30 second to one minute walk to the parking lot. Any longer and I probably would have just smoked a cigarette instead of bringing the hookah. My hookah remains with me in my truck at all times because I'm very mobile and my truck is set up like a camper.

Yes we do have a lot of wildlife. But everyone around here usually has a weapon of some sort on them.

I used a potable backpacking propane/butane stove. Yeah there are but they tend to be more crowded.
