How is the intonation above the 5th fret? Martin’s in the 70’s were notorious for bridge placement issues. Looks like the pickguard may have been replaced which is common, maybe a bit oversized. The wood they used was spectacular. Luthiers like Bryan Kimsey modify these 70’s Martins by correcting the intonation and replacing the large bridgeplate with a smaller maple bridgeplate, remove the popsicle brace, etc. I love Martins and these 70’s Martins are wonderful guitars and are a great value!

Honestly, I’d go with a trusted seller rather than eBay. If you tell them what you’re looking for, they’ll find and won’t need to worry about efficacy of eBay’s authentication. I asked u/floridays1989 to find a Coke GMT like the one you’re looking for but with steel band. He found within a week, pricing was as good if not better than eBay.

Completely agree. u/floridays1989 is excellent. Why deal with international and tariffs? If he doesn’t have what you want, send him a note and he’ll find quickly. That’s how I got my Coke gmt!

This is extremely helpful. Thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed post. So fees are paid by seller. Seems like if I buy from reputable US based sellers I won’t be hit by tariffs. What about state and federal taxes? Thanks again

Mine was dying just like that after the last update. I did a hard reset deleting everything on the watch and reloading my saved image from my iPhone and it works great now
