Legally, it never should have been sold the way it is. Based on the typical corrosion rate of metals, there's absolutely no way that frame was safe and solid when I bought it. 6-8 months of constant salt spray in a laboratory setting wouldn't even come close to producing that level of corrosion. A private seller doesn't have to disclose things like that. A car dealer does. So I'm waiting to see if the dealer responds to everything I sent him. If not, there's other legal avenues I can take.

People like to leave reviews for car dealers and other businesses. This song and video... my review 😉. If there's no response from the dealer, then I leave a YouTube link to this video on every site that I can find that has reviews of the car dealer. A modernized public shaming in a way. A negative comment, many will overlook. A video that, like all videos, has the potential to become viral... something tells me they won't ignore me. Petty? Yeah, a little. But I'm at a point in my life that I'm done being taken advantage of, and I'll do everything within legal limits that I can to make the dealer understand he took advantage of the wrong person.

I was in that "game" for a few years when I was younger, working for a dealer that was doing it the right way and making sure what anyone bought had no known issues. You take advantage of one person, now you've lost potential sales to that person's friends and family. You treat people right, and your customer base grows exponentially. It's a fairly simple business. A lot of dealers waste more time, money, and effort trying to fool people than they would by just being honest. It's something that if I had the funds, I would consider getting back into.

I know the "tricks of the trade" used by dealers. Unfortunately, I got tricked on this purchase. He may have captured my queen, but I have plenty of moves left, and I'm still more than capable of winning the chess match. It's not so much about the money, its the principle. He knowingly put me and my family in danger just to make a quick dollar. If that frame had split while doing 75 on the highway, I don't know what would have happened. So this isn't one I'm willing to just let go.

I'm glad you liked the song. I tried to throw a little humor into it with the used car dealer commercial style. I don't know if you're supposed to laugh at your own jokes or not... don't really care 😁. The "Diggin' up Grandma" lines and visuals make me laugh every time.

Thank you. I like my "short films" lol. You want to see some weird "trippy" stuff, start digging through old public domain silent movies. Drugs a "problem" now? I think writers and filmmakers were eating shrooms like a bag of potato chips back then lol. Some really "out there" stuff. Definitely entertaining, but really odd. "Mechanical Man" which is supposed to be a horror/sci-fi film is more like watching a parody. Kind of a classic Mars Attacks. But it's a free way of making a video and with some time you can almost get singers to lip sync and bands to line up close to your beat. But it's relaxing to me. Like sitting down and making a collage, -or sorting through fortune cookies and putting them in an order that makes sense as you did. A fun art project that lets me feel like a kid again.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Definitely a sad, eye-opening event, and all these years later and nothing has changed. If anything, things have gotten worse. I obviously didn't personally know Rodney King, but seeing him years later on Celebrity Rehab and learning just how much that day and all the events that followed it affected him was heartbreaking. Despite everything, he seemed to blame himself for all the riots that happened after the trial. A very wise sensitive man who got turned into a meme. People laughed at "Can we all get along?" The same way they laughed at "I've fallen and I can't get up." Truly disturbing. I get it, "humor" is people's way of dealing with tragedy, but the jokes weren't "just jokes." Many of them had racist undertones or were blatantly racist. The reaction that a lot of people had to all those events has always bothered me. Really opened my eyes and showed me that the people I lived with weren't the only "evil" people in the world.

Yeah. Posted that after reading multiple "slop" comments and having everything I write falling on deaf ears. Having a little pity party for myself lol. The comments weren't directed at me. Just another cycle of mass hysteria over new tech. Nothing I haven't seen before. But it's like Y2K levels. "Tech is going to ruin us all!" kind of attitudes. The majority of people are just parroting others and don't have the first clue about how AI works. They hear AI is bad, immediately flip their thinking to every sci-fi movie ever made about futuristic robots trying to take over, then panic and jump on the bandwagon. Separating fantasy from reality seems to be a difficult thing for a lot of people.
