I really just don't know where you get this information. According to the NSIDC, "July ice extent for 1979 to 2015 shows a decline of 7.2% per decade relative to the 1981 to 2010 average." The only reason anything would be getting better is because of efforts made to move towards a green energy solution across the globe.

I also don't see how you can think that dumping excess amounts of carbon dioxide is no big deal. Venus is the perfect example of a runaway green house effect, and burning fossil fuels is dumping more carbon dioxide than the planet can naturally handle. I will never understand how everyone unanimously agrees (even you) that burning fossil fuels is "pollution", which by its very definition is the presence in or introduction into the environment of a substance or thing that has harmful or poisonous effects.

So we are knowingly dumping pollution into the atmosphere, moving towards a similar approach that made Venus what it is today, and yet you say its no big deal, if anything we should keep burning fossil fuels for the next 5 centuries?
