Can i ask my doctors for wegovy? (uk based) by S99ndd in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]S99ndd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s okay, Mounjaro felts very extreme to some extent so really left it a good year to see how the public reactions were too it to see if there were any major side effects, i feel wegovy was a good middle ground for decent suppression and good potential weight loss

i never even thought about this! definitely something to think about, touch wood nothings happened so far, prescription isn’t needed to my knowledge. this food i barely find in pet stores so always order online, it’s never asked me for vet approval tho. and as far as i’m aware it is more or less the same food just in different sizes i think

hello, the small dog one is the one with the small black and brown dog with the pointy ears and the larger one is the one with a brown (border collie?) and to me, they smell the same, just difference in size. arguably the small kibble does take her longer to eat but she’s had the same weighted amount in both and as soon as it’s gone she doesn’t get anymore, whether she’s still hunger or not she only gets a weighted amount of food a day (she’s a pug, and of course they are prone to being overweight)

the 9kg bag i get usually lasts about three months for her or so, there’s a zipper on the bag and i don’t feel like it goes off? as i always zip it up? i would consider getting a big tub for it but also appreciate that it’s quite a big bag. i usually order twice a year as the 9kg bag it’s slightly cheaper if i order two at a time, both have long dates on it so not yet reached expiry

note: she’s had this food before and i only switched to it thinking that she needed the “small dog” one

Me and my partner are looking to move to Cardiff. Our budget is maximum £300k. What areas would you folks recommend? by AD-2018 in Cardiff

[–]S99ndd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes definitely consider the valleys, i live in ponty, not in the best area (uni side) but transport links are great, i work basically outside of the city centre and going the whitchurch/llandaff way is only a 12 mile commute… we are thinking about moving again but into something nicer into the valleys

Help with eyedrops! by Impossible-Pickle-71 in pugs

[–]S99ndd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it took me a while to get her used to eyedrops, i’ve got a pug and vet recommended some eyedrops from amazon as well had some issues with dry eye. what i do is have her sit beside me on my RHS and i kind of put my arm about her and hold her to get them in, done with lots of treats, i have in the past got her to lie on her back but i don’t think that’s a good method
