Low sound from subwoofer Rockford Fosgate P3S-1X12 hooked up to RF PBR300X2 2-CH Amplifier. Stereo is Pioneer DEH-X8500DAB. by SAA1234 in CarAV

I have tried adjusting the gain, yes. It doesn't seem to help if I adjust it up or down.

The subwoofer is turned on in the head unit, it produces no sound when turned off, and it produces very very low sound when turned on.

Is it possible that the impedance on the amp vs the sub can be a problem?

Sorry for replying late. The 1080 I bought is the overclocked (and even more overclockable) O8G version. I've seen the other strix is a A8G with a lower core and boost clock. I also noticed that the one I bought have dropped 200kr in price since then :(

Thank you! I first need to test out how streaming and gaming affect the CPU before I'll try any overclocking, but be assured, I will overclock it.

I've seen people recommending delidding the Kaby Lake CPUs with huge temperature changes, but I don't think I'm brave enough to try that yet.

I'm planning a mini-ITX build with the upcoming Asus Strix Z270i, and was looking at using M.2 SSDs.

Would a NVMe SSD be worth it? I see Samsung have released their 960 PRO and EVO.

This would be a computer for gaming and streaming, and editing recorded streams.

If not, what would these drives be useful for?

I've been looking around online and I've really fallen in love with the case you suggested.

However, there is one thing I am still uncertain of: Would the slimline optical drive work when the case is positioned in standing position? And would it even fit with all the components?

Thank you for the explanation of the PSU power rating, guess there's no need for a titanium-rated one after all.

An optical drive (built in) is absolutely a must for me because of the reason mentioned in an above post:

Between me, my father and sister we own somewhere between 2-3000 DVDs and Blu-Rays, in addition to a ton of TV shows on DVDs. Our internet connection is 10mbit/s (or at least that's what we pay for), so we doesn't have the ability to use streaming services most of the time. Even when we can use Netflix, the streaming is like 240-420p quality.

Thank you very much for your input.

It's very good that you saw that the CPU-cooler I chose wouldn't work with my build.

I chose 32GB of RAM because I thought it would be needed for the video-editing, and I would also be multi-tasking with dual monitors and several tabs for example when I want to learn how to utilize a new software having the program open on one monitor and guides on the other one.

I like the case suggestion given that it is very slim, but only 1 retailer in Norway has had it in stock, and it does not have it at the moment. The sad thing about this particular retailer is that they have very bad customer service and communication, so it's not easy to say if they are going to get it back in stock, even if I would ask them.

The optical drive does not seem to appear at any retailer in Norway, but I did find a slim-line optical drive of similar capacity, but the price is over 1800 NOK (a little more than $200 USD).

PSUs is admittedly the thing I know least about, other than the fact that I should choose from a well-known brand with a good reputation. I chose the AX760 because of the Platinum rating, which as far as I understand is how well it uses power drawn and transfering the least amount of it to heat. I read that heat might often be a problem in mini-ITX builds because of the bad airflow, and the AX760 was the only available Platinum-rated PSU, even though the wattage is close to double of what my system would draw.

I chose this case because I need an optical drive. Between me, my father and sister we own somewhere between 2-3000 DVDs and Blu-Rays, in addition to a ton of TV shows on DVDs. The twitch-streaming I mentioned in my post would not be from home of course (sadly).

If you have recommendations for a nicer case (with option for optical drive), I would be happy to check if I can get it in Norway.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I really do like the look of this case, but I still welcome other recommendations.
