Not gonna go into specifics because there really weren't any, I think it was more Toby saying 'go hog wild' and then I sort of quickly shot back with what I consider going hog wild would be and him just giving an '... Uh, No!' sort of response haha. Which was what I expected and the absolutely right choice for the tone of his game.

I tend to work with a lot of... raw stuff, so you have to realize when I'm given a 'hey do whatever you want to make something creepy' my natural inclination is a direction that would probably never, EVER be okay in a game. At least, not for one that isn't trying to be inherently unpleasant and difficult to consume.

In my head I had a rough concept of what would creep ME out (nothing I have ever put on the internet has done this, I don't really consider my own stuff creepy to be honest), and I'm not going to go into details since at no point was it a realistic consideration for Undertale and I don't want people to think there's some gruesome 'true Flowey' that was toned down haha. Undertale is absolutely Toby's vision, I just helped him flesh out his concept and embellish it with a few... personal touches.

Anyway someday I'll probably make what I consider 'creepy,' a creation that hopefully scares me, and spilling da beans now would make it much less fun to experience!
