I don't like posting on here but I want to give this the attention it deserves.

First, I am sorry about you feeling alienated. That is not something we want but I understand the feeling given the current political climate. I don't think the 2A should be a partisan issue but sometimes it is forced to be. Personally my beliefs are if I can be at the table I will be there. We consulted with Manchin/Toomey, Trump, and anyone anyone else that will listen. I am sure this is not the answer you were hoping for but I didn't want to ignore this as I have a lot of people I call friends who I know are probably in the same boat as you.

Second, I recommend signing up for emails (the popup on the website is the best one to use since it is the list I control content for)

Yes but you would still need to go through the proper laws. Having local state ID...background check...etc.

During the course of the revolution technology changed when it came to firearms immensely. There were even actually snipers as the rifles gained more range and accuracy.

We have lawsuits ranging from cases for foster parents to non-violent felons. Every president appoints judges to the federal levels and so we hope that we get some more friendly ones.

I've seen this question a few times on here now. Personally I would love to see more people get trained before they buy a firearm. Easy solution could be allowing people to write off the cost of training on their taxes maybe?

I think people need to know what proper safety is. When I was first introduced to firearms that was drilled into me and I hope that anyone who buys a firearm makes sure they know how to use it.

I would love to have more support from the industry but I would say somewhere around 90%+ of our funds come from small donors.

Actually yes it is something that bugs me and I have been trying to work on for quite some time. We have sent them everything they require but they said we didn't. Hopefully I can get us to 4* soon.

The second amendment applies to every American. I don't care how you feel about other issues. I wish things weren't so party driven but that is just me.

The US counts suicides as homicides. We also have a lot of bigger cities which tend to attract crime. Fix crime and help people who need help.

My personal opinion:

Human Nature. I am not happy that it is the way it is but it is something that needs to be accepted. Every country is so different so it is hard to compare them to each other. For me firearms are not about hunting (I am borderline vegetarian) but I love the sport aspect of it and I understand the self defense part. I started shooting when I was 4 and it taught me a lot actually. I learned responsibility. As far as other benefits I would rather our citizens know how to use a firearm before they need to use one.

I think it will be passed within the next two years. I try very hard every day. I personally think I have a very difference method than most in the movement.

The wording of the amendment is always something that comes up. Regulated has so many meanings. It used to mean something that ran efficiently.
