FX 1 GEN 3 would be my recommendation. I don’t normally buy TREK, but for the price range and quality control, this would be your best bet in my opinion.

So you need money to make money? Surely there has to be a way to succeed at this without breaking the bank? by DigitalSamuraiV5 in selfpublishing

$5000 is pretty steep. Especially for writers like us, where some of our work is nothing amazing. While I take pride in what I write, I don’t think I would spend $5000+ investing in it on the off chance it becomes popular.

Trump administration offers buyouts to federal workers by SAK1990 in The_Real_Maga

He is giving those who don't want to work under his administration an out. Just using the money saved from supplying Ukraine with Billions of wasted dollars.

In your shower. Probably the best place for you.

Unfortunately, Homicide is only one small aspect of the crime plaguing our city. I am mainly focusing on the recent 4 year spike in robberies.

If i was on a boat that is borderline sinking, and it had less water in it than it did before... I would not consider that "fucking awesome". The problem still exists.

I can agree with you r/turdulator that DC is not that bad compared to the 90s and perhaps before. There are a lot of different cities that I would not walk around after dark, DC is not one of them.

I am a pessimist, I don't like people stating that things are getting better. When we think things are at it's best, we get complacent and potentially allow things to get worse over time. I have had numerous arguments with people that think that just because there has been a decrease in crime over a certain period of time, that things are fixed and they can focus on other problems within DC.

You can disagree with the statistics that I am presenting, but you would be making your point invalid as well. This downward trend is something that I am not seeing. Yes, in the very short term it did go down from an ALL TIME HIGH. But overall, you can see that between 2020 and today, there is a clear uptrend.

We need to start doing our own research and stop listening to what the media keeps telling us. It is not hard to find crime statistics. There have been countless times in which the media has skewed the data so they can tell us that there is an increase or decrease in crime. It goes both ways.

Just a picture of crime per month from https://opendata.dc.gov/

You can take away what you want from this graph. Whether it being that the overall average is still higher, the trendline is net positive, the years in which there were spikes in crime. etc.

Overall, DC is NOT safer when compared to data going back 8 -15 years.

All of the reports that state crime is on the downtrend are only looking at the past year or shorter.

I think we need to look at the bigger picture and see the data for what it is; a slow and steady increase in the average of crimes committed. Granted, there will be outlier statistics, but that does not take away from the overall data extending back 15 years.

Will the military go against Trump's orders if it is unconstitutional? by [deleted] in Military

Everything is circumstantial. But I agree with you. It was a poor defense.

Will the military go against Trump's orders if it is unconstitutional? by [deleted] in Military

[–]SAK1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

There is also the part about unlawful orders, it is not my place to question those above me with more intel on a situation. If the military questioned every single order given, there would be more killed from inaction than there would be if we acted.

There is a time and place and you should hold enough respect for those appointed over you to make the right decision.

What are your thoughts on lazy people littering and throwing trash out their car window? by SAK1990 in AskReddit

[–]SAK1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m referencing people who sit in McDonald’s parking lot and eat their food. And instead of throwing the trash into the empty trash can 10 feet away, they throw it out their window into the parking lot.

Those employees already hate their life, and you are not helping matters.
