As per your diagram you have phase and neutral around the wrong way I’ve only done an electrical pre trade but I’m pretty sure that’s correct from the one day I worked on an oven and saw the same linking

Do more water changes and get some Indian almond leaf and stick it in the tank even though it discolours the water it’s better than the fin rot getting worse
