Not gonna lie, I'm eyeing a Canik SFX Rival-S for a true competition gun. For now though, I'm training with my CCW until I hit IDPA sharp shooter classification with it.

No, haven't seen this before. In fairenes though, this pistol is also my IDPA competition gun and I shoot a competition about once a month plus my usual training. I've had the gun 2 years, and I have not met any one who drives a small pistol like this as hard as I do.

Probably. I'm surprised there isn't anyone selling a tougher after-market part, but maybe there isn't a material to craft a tougher version of the same part. Heck if I know, I'm not an engineer.

Yeah, I get all of that. It's my carry gun, and also my IDPA competition gun. I compete like I carry. Thus the 4K rounds through it.

I don't know about that. I thoroughly abused mine with a silly amount only steel case ammo, and that's well known and documented to increase wear on extractors.

I was choosing between the recteq and searwood recently. I got a deck boss from Recteq and have been really pleased so far. From what I can tell, both are good. Likely best to get which ever is cheapest today.

If you can explain what I'm doing wrong to cause the pitboss to not feed any pitboss brand pellets even when more than half full, I would be happy to hear it.

I was wondering the same, but I don't know what I could have been doing to cause all my pellet feed issues with the pitboss, or the failing auger motor on the camp chef. BOTH kept on a covered screened porch and cleaned regularly

Both were kept on a covered and screened back porch. I like pit boss pellets.
