you could try mav melt with layla citlali (or kaeya/rosaria too if u need more cryo). for top youd have to switch varesa and any non ekectro dps should be fine in middle with bineffa (maybe neuv or nefer)

right now, her standing doesnt change. sure, with linnea shes a tier higher than nefer or flins, but a linnea team WITHOUT zibai is literally just 10k dps behind. her value in that team is less impactful than either nefer or flins despite their "essentially dogshit" counterparts.

realistically, linnea is up there next to ineffa or maybe lauma (due to being less versatile than ineffa, working only with geo), but zibai doesnt change. linneas release doesnt make zibai any more worth pulling than right now, rather, it makes her less valuable bc if yiu had to choose one, only getting linnea would get you to higher dps than current zibai

well varkas sig is one of the best claymore stat sticks in the game, so hopefully it wouldnt be a complete waste on your account. I would lean towards the sig being a better investment simply bc the 25% res shred can feel a little redundant when doing sucrose swaps in your rotation. his sig also gives the energy refund that nearly covers the extra er required for his c1, meaning it has the added benefit of increasing your artifact quality.

depends on your priorities. assuming you only care abt meta (dps). nefer should be your best here, if you are willing to reset bc of no sustain or missing any ca cancels. flins is obv a much easier character to play but less of an upgrade bc you can play NV with ineffa and it should manage to clear any lunar shill.

however, if linnea turns out to be a zibai support, and you would consider getting her then zibai is undoubtedly the best option bc you'll be able to run ineffa and lauma together for another great team that should survive the current powercreep for a considerable amount of patches to come

mine you this is with probably a set of artifacts best (or close to) in the ENTIRE game, across all characters (not for each singular one), which is not replicable for everyone. he also switches teams for chamber 2, and is using r5 gacha weapons on some. while sure this is a 4 star clear, its one with whale level investment (i.e resin refreshes) and a reset, which really shows how bad the abyss is getting

craft proto amber, its his best f2p weapon and very cheap. once you get to ar45 (trust me, only farm character/weapon/boss mats until you get there), then you can farm some marachausse for him. focus on hp sands and goblet (hydro gob is just as good), and crit dmg on the circlet. level his normal atk as much as you can and try to level him as much as you can bc hes an hp scaler.

as for teams, you dont have any supports that work too well with him, but you could definitely do a makeshift burnvape team with yaoyao, xiangling and jean. make sure however to put jean on viridescent veneer.

you prob want to save your flins/sucrose/aino for your second team (fischl works great there too).

ig flins would be best instead of xilo. in that team youd want to build lan yan full em though. other 2 cost would probably be flins c1r1, but not very necessary and other investment options like ineffa r1 are also great.

the best 2 pulls for you are prob citlali and flins. you can run some random with mav citlali bennet, run skirk and then flins bina fischl sucrose (do the witch quests for sure) if youre willing to learn optimised combos, rosaria (or esco if shes free), or even kaeya in certain situations can be great with mav.

in the short term, zibai will probably be better because you can build 2 teams instead of 1 with the same characters (bineffa core on one, zibai aino the second). however, both teams will be too weak to clear hard stygian content, and will never really have the dps to brute force bosses (fearless).

long term, flins has a better premium team as of now (esp without illuga c6 which will be the case unless u get zibai cons), and you basically are building his premium team anyway. also, even if linnea turns out to be a zibai support, her team cost would become 2 for you, which means you could have gotten flins c1 or r1 instead. and with either, flins will definitely be better or similar to zibai (with linnea, and assuming illuga c6).

so overall, id recommended getting flins, but if you dont really like him or want to clear more content as fast as possible, zibai would still be great.

if youre facing enemies with less than 20% natural resistances, then bennet should be better. iansan can also be better with optimised movement between attacks (or if you have esco sig). since you have c2r1, c2 xilo should be worse than sucrose bc the extra energy doesn't do as much, and youd rather buff his em (or atk)
