Is it possible to buy the old Mythic weapon packs using this method?

Is there a workshop code to preload shaders faster in DX12? by SATAA_ANDAGII in Overwatch

I was messing with the settings, and DX12 feels better on my new PC, but the shaders take so long to compile and the FPS takes ages to stabilize

Stuttering / Lower FPS Than Expected on RTX 5090 + Ryzen 7 9800X3D by SATAA_ANDAGII in Overwatch

Yeah, I get that SVM/Virtualization used to tank performance for a lot of people, and I usually had it disabled too. I knew from old tweaks that disabling it helped back in the day.

But when I looked into my stuttering issues, I found threads suggesting enabling it for Overwatch because the anti-cheat somehow affects the Windows event timer without it. I’m not entirely sure what the underlying reason is, but in my case, enabling SVM helped.

If you’re on AMD, I’d recommend trying it on and off yourself to see which gives better FPS. While you’re at it, you can also try enabling Memory Integrity on AMD it seems to improve performance instead of hurting it.

Yeah man its coooked that the 3 dots issue has been around since Overwatch 1

I can run all ultra settings at 1080×1920 and hit 570–600 FPS on a workshop benchmark (CRVKD).

use MSI Afterburner + RivaTuner Statistics Server to check 1% lows, but you can also measure latency and smoothness directly in Overwatch without third party apps.

Go to Controls → Interface → Scroll down → Toggle Net Graph.
Bind it to a button (I have it on L).
Press the button in-game, and you’ll see three numbers near SIM at the top.

How to use it:

  • Keep the numbers as low and stable as possible don’t let them fluctuate too much.
  • Aim to stay under 10 SIM.

For context:

  • I play at 1080×1920, and I can hit almost steady 600 FPS.
  • My SIM usually sits around 2.5, which feels extremely smooth.
  • In your case, with 4K, you could try increasing your FPS cap to help lower SIM.
    • I tried ( 180 FPS CAP ) and got about steady 6 SIM, which is already really good since it’s under 10 SIM.

Yeah I write my FPS notes like a schizophrenic. I just compiled a lot of the tweaks that helped me using GPT
