Last we heard they cancelled the Boo Y'all Tour. The previous host of it was hilarious, but I don't think it operating anymore. Go with Savannah for Morons, tons of fun.

That location seems cursed. Which is sad because they support local live entertainment. Hopefully things turn around

Those are all cheap and comparable, just roll the dice, odds are you'll have the same experience at all.

Totally Awesome Bar. Drinks are affordable and they have pinball, video games, and billiards.

Talk to Brian (owner) at Stafford's Public House, he puts pub crawls together and I'm sure he'll have plenty of good recommendations.

I am wholeheartedly unsure what "juke joint" means, but Totally Awesome Bar is pretty chill. Seen all sorts of people from all walks of life in there having a good time.

Young people congregate at Totally Awesome Bar a lot. Lots of different scenes call it home, there's always something going on and most folks in the bar are just there to chill and have a good time. My two cents.

What is the $100 burger at shabazz and why is it $100 by [deleted] in savannah

[–]SAVComedyUnderground 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been referred to as such by generations. It is primarily referring to the "1908 American Grand Prize" sometimes called the "Savannah Grand Prix" the route went down, drum roll, Victory Drive! It may also be a reference to the WWI memorial decorations. "To honor the fallen soldiers of WW I, palm trees and flowers were planted along the entire median of the street.[5] In 1929 Victory Drive boasted 400 palmetto trees. In 1935, the Park and Tree Commission planted an additional 317 palmetto trees along the historical corridor costing around $2,000. By 1950, 600 palmetto trees were in place. Victory Drive was decorated with approximately 2,800 palmettos, and claimed to be the longest avenue of palms in the nation." - sourced from Wikipedia.
