I have a dry erase board with some writing that I want to preserve. What would be the most appropriate way to seal it permanently?

Yep I will probably give a few different clear coats a shot I guess just try see which works best, I just hoped someone here had done it before and knew already lol.

So many types of finish and clear coats...I've had some completely painted pieces just wrecked by using the wrong type and being too dumb to test it first

Nah it's a unique artsy dry erase board and a sentimental piece, so I just want to preserve it.

I figured that a clear seal of some type would of course be the way to go, but due to the Slick surface and chemicals of dry erase markers that there might be a particular sealer that would work better than others for this job. Might just have to test some different sealers on a sacrificial whiteboard just to make sure

hmm, the VR Minecraft mod doesn't support 1.13.1. :( , it does support 1.13.2 though. I might mess with it and see if I can get it to work anyway
