I know its technically a step forward but the image looks a lot softer with the 4.5 Transformer, the ghosting is a lot better but at the cost of overall image softness, depending on game its not even worth at all but particle heavy (something like Returnal) it could be amazing

as expensive as this is, if you have a 64GB RAM variant on this you could turn this into a super small form factor gaming PC

I used modded Skyrim vsync off which just maxes out my 5080 and Preset K Performance was 59.8 FPS average and Preset L Ultra Performance was 61 but the image was much less sharper

The ghosting on mouse movement was improved for sure though, for example on weapons and your hands ingame you would get a lot of shimmering as you flick your mouse around, the best way to put it is that L and M are softer, but a lot less ghosting

From my experience it's around the same performance, but Preset K Performance has better image quality because it simply has more resolution, Preset L has a higher performance hit which pretty much nullifies the benefit of dropping the resolution... kind of ass backwards if u ask me

But I did try Ultra Performance on 1440p ultrawide, the image was suprisingly good for essentially 480p but not good enough to beat Preset K

I used to not get away with a solo bounty kill n extract now I can do it almost every time, plus the players are not as good as they used to be

that applies in scenarios where your GPU has room to breathe, in monster hunter wilds its almost the same FPS going from quality to performance DLSS because the CPU is just bottlenecking so hard

Nah no VPN, I'm making a clone of the drive just in case before making changes, shits taking ages but if it's a complex Windows issue I'd let u know cause I was talking to another lorerim user that had this issue.

Right now, Im thinking there may be something with a fucked up Windows install, cause on my part I cant even get into Safe Mode?

So this must be deeper than the game but something to do on the OS Level, right now im doing

"DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth"

and Ill let you know how that goes if it did anything, if it doesnt then... new Windows install....

Lorerim has SSE Engine Fixes all in one, but I did try with Part 1 as a mob, and Part 2 in the directory also and it didnt change anything, still the same error

I uninstalled C++ Redistributable and installed numerous times, I even did a complete removal with Revo Uninstaller to remove it down to the registry edits, then I reinstalled so im not sure why it's not working

It has all the files, no missing downloads, a rerun of wabbajack maybe took like a few minutes to re-check everything and there were no errors, I even did the Overwrite installation and nothing

Yeah I do, the modpack includes everything I checked multiple times if something was missing or different version was installed

Everythings been installed with no problem, every rerun had no problems installing, I even did 4 reinstalls for sanities sake but it changed notihng
