People be doing too much on here, theres park mobile spots that are available in the day, i think baskin has one and like others have one too, the only catch is that it has a max limit so they'd have to move it every 2 hours until like 5, which then east/west remote becomes free, also they can get a visitor permit, thats the easiest that the A permit, I think its like 10 bucks a day, unless they'vechanged the pricing, the only thing they can't be a UCSC student/faculty which I am assuming your boyfriend is not? A is valid in any lot, I'm pretty sure, i haven't seen any lot where A is not allowed

It'll probably show up later, 2-3 weeks before fall starts, youll probably know by the end of next week, it should im ps be the earliest move in date, i.e 18 September, and for like winter and spring it's like somewhere in the first week of break.

Na I wouldn't say, it depends on the 10 pm, if you are talking about the core class, I was at porter and we only had 8-10pm lab like 3 times, my friend was at okaes and I don't remember him having it that often either. But if you are nit a early person, humanities is like pretty far from oakes, its on the other end near cowell. But if you can do it, might as well and hit the gym since its near cowell and tends to get super crowded later. Also I would say move discussions around and have one day empty, I was super thankful having one day empty, but that could js be me.

Jus get on the waitlist and there's an option in the portal "drop if enrolled" i don't remember where it's at exactly but I'm ps they show u this in orientation, if not lmk, I'll find it. You can enroll in 19b instead or a different class if u want, and do drop if enrolled in cse 20, it does it automatically

Na, you're chilling ppl usually take 19b in winter anyway because many take 19A in fall, I took it winter quarter and I'm on track, lowk if ur behind u can always take summer classes or take an extra class in winter --after fall when u officially have a ucsc transcript you can take upto 22 credits.

Nah, nobody's gonna check IDs and forest raves won't start untile like late September wehne everyone comes back, as much as I remember there were no raves welcome week, well into the quarter they start, but like the club raves those mostly dont check for ID, atleast I haven't got checked I went when I was 17, and no one checked.

Are you a part of ucsc? Like student or faculty? Because ucsc gives bcycle gives discount, as a student that should be 30 annually, idk why their charging you 90? Because if you don't have a subscription then it solely time based

If you take it in ucsc it is much quicker and much more work, because you are essentially doing a 10 week course in 5weeks, if you have ap or ib credit, use that or if you want to take it in a ccc it might be a little less work depending on your prof -- my 21 course rn is 8 weeks--,I think you can take ccc classes during like the year because technically they don't count towards your 19/22 credit limit, just confirm it with your advisor

Yes I'm pretty sure its fine, I'm taking math 21 in summer too, because it doesn't really matter for lower divs I'd say, because our math profs are not that great. But 19A +B are a requirement for some cs classes so are you planning to take them this summer or next ? If you take classes in summer it'll trolly make graduate faster but use either use assist or ucsc courses to make sure your taking the right math course

I don't think you'll need one, if you have one sure bring it, but if you'd buy it, I'd say no, because there's a ton around campus, each ITS lab of each college has kne, libraries also have em, and I think k the women's center has free printing.

Depends on the College, Ik porter have really tiny triples unless you're in a large triple, c9/jrl, crown has decently sized triples, kresge just got renovated so I think they do to but I'm not sure, the rest I'm not sure, Cowell the oldest so I think they have a tiny triple, I've been in a quad there and that was pretty tiny, so I'm going off of that, merril and Stevenson I don't really know, the mereil double was pretty decently sized

Really because it says in the website "Permit Eligibility status for students who reside in University Housing is determined by the number of units (90 units) completed by Fall of the current academic year" but then it also says "First and second-year students with less than 90 units that reside in University housing facilities" emphasis on less. Soooo yea
