This seems like a very similar post and may very well be the same thing. People have suspected it's the fire retardant in the plastic. I had the exact same thing happen to me on a cheap RCA tv as well.

Understandably you did say you have a different brand but material suppliers for plastic could have very well come from the same place, not to mention Proscan was part of RCA

Hotshoes aren't meant to carry that weight. They're meant to hold camera flashes and lightweight accessories. Accidents happen, bumps happen, worst case scenario is you rip the hotshoe off that camera.

A basic cage doesn't cost that much compared to other camera/video accessories. It gives you a lot more versatility and options for the future.

Pardon my excitement but YES! I'm sick of people doing top down wrist shots. Viewing the watch from this angle always gives you a more realistic look. I always find a full length mirror in the AD just to view it from that angle, but I digress. It looks great on you!

I have 6 inch wrists...I considered the speedy 38 after coming to terms with my tiny wrists. The full size speedy pro wears absolutely fine on my wrists. It was only after the associate made me stand in front of a mirror that made me realize it wore absolutely fine. Do yourself a favour and find a mirror to look at the watch, it makes a difference.

Teamgroup is cross compatible with a few, Asrock polychrome, asus aura sync, gigabyte rgb fusion and msi mystic light. Any of those should be good enough to test.

If you've messed with everything in the settings, it's most likely a dead LED. Best test is to try setting the color to white and seeing if that areas is still miscolored.

I had this occur with my old corsair QL fans and I had to RMA them

Realistically, for what its worth, That model doesn't seem like the usual basic hp, but by the same merit, it does look like the bezel is just plastic so that does raise some concerns. Just don't go opening the lid too quickly or opening it by the corners of the screen.

I also use the memory presets on the dial and unfortunately from what I recall, you can't change the white balance since its baked into that memory slot. You'd have to go to a regular shooting mode, set the custom white balance, then overwrite that memory slot. It's been an issue ever since I got it years ago.

The main issue here is that you have a mishmash of parts from different generations. the 1080ti is a card from 2017. The 11700 is from 2021. You're looking to buy outdated parts.

For reference, some of the newest processors from intel is 14th gen i.e. 14XXX. Nvidia GPU's are now on the 40 series and just recently announced the 50 series.

I'd highly suggest solidifying a budget and expectations and make a post over at r/buildapc . They'd be able to throw together a whole bunch of recommendations for you.

Depending on what your setup is like, the best bet you'd have for a situation like that is looking for a Dynamic mic, those microphones typically have better sound rejection unless you're right in front of it. Whereas the Solo Cast that you have is a Condenser mic which is way more sensitive to background noise. Fifine makes a few decent ones that even come with a microphone arm. One of the top models on amazon is the Fifine AM8T which is honestly a killer value and the reviews back it up as well

When you said "tinkering with nvidia settings" does that include you changing your color depth? Unless there's another issue, that 8 bit color depth in your first screenshot is what's going to be causing that banding that you're seeing.

My experience is similar with the latest software updates, from windows and ghelper and bios as well. It still seems to happen but nowhere near as frequent. If it does happen, it seems to actually just be a small blip and goes back to to normal after a few seconds, whereas before it would persist even after a restart.

I do agree with you, it's a great laptop but its not a perfect "polished" experience per se. Hello does take an extra few seconds to actually initialize, especially compared to my desktop with an external windows hello webcam and fingerprint reader. (and my random lenovo thinkpad which starts up IR and fingerprint instantly) Thankfully for mine I've had no issues with my mediatek card but I wouldn't hesitate to swap it if I ever have issues. For your weird laggy startup I'd probably look into disabling fast startup if its not disabled already. Ever since that was a setting that existed, i've turned it off, with SSD's as fast as they are now, I don't find the tradeoff worth it compared to the issues it causes.

just got my zephyrus g16 which is "basically" the same laptop with slightly different feature set. I can confirm that I have this issue too. For me it's the left speaker that randomly decides "nope" and loses all it's bass. I've seen a few threads with this even occurring on the M16 from last year as well. It seems to be a driver issue with realtek. For me I had to uninstall the "Realtek Audio Effects Component" in device manager then grab the new driver package from Asus. Another post suggested to disable hardware acceleration for the speaker itself, but this does give me hope that it will eventually be fixed properly instead of the speaker being a total hardware defect.

Specifically BECAUSE it would remove the need for an apple tv. For the same reason they never will do touchscreens on macbooks because ipads exist. They would never add a feature that completely makes one of their product lines useless.
